I read this because I really enjoyed The Coincidence of Coconut Cake. This was good but I prefer TCOCC. (Less food in this one, more poker.)
I haven't watched Amy Schumer's show or movie, so I didn't know what to expect. SO much crude stuff, but she was also funny and had some great/heartbreaking/thought-provoking stories about her family, breaking into her career, and experiences with sexual assault and partner violence. If you do want to read it, I thought the audiobook (which she narrates) was a great choice.

So...I just finished this book and according to Goodreads I read it in 2010? I remember nothing. I'm a sucker for a knitting romance (who isn't?) but the stalker subplot didn't really work for me.
Couldn't put it down. And definitely, DEFINITELY way too steamy for YA. By a lot.
I read this for book group and wasn't sure how I'd like it. Could not put it down, finished in less than 24 hours. I think it would be compelling & interesting for anyone, not just those who are navigating "end of life" care issues.
3.5 stars. Fun read, I like Katie as a character, and I really got drawn in to the office intrigue. Plus there's glamping.
