Enh. It didn't really do it for me. And the part where she couldn't send her kids outside to play in the back yard because her husband was too protective of the lawn? The heck??

Definitely one to read if you ever followed The Daily Show, or any of the actors & personalities who got their start there.

Overdrive suggested the audiobook as a St Patrick's Day read, so I went for it. I enjoyed the plot but thought the writing had some issues and could use more editing. Now that I see it's independently published that makes more sense. Also? I had to laugh at how many times the sun was supposedly shining in an Irish coastal town.

GREAT stuff. I wish I had read this before I started having kids. Or when I was in college. Or as a teenager. Except I don't think I would have realized then just how important and relevant this information was!

I remember being underwhelmed when this first came out, even though I'd loved "Winn-Dixie." But this time around, listening to the audiobook in the car with the kids, I really enjoyed it and so did they.
