I found Lindsay's account shortly  after joining bookstagram and was originally drawn in by her beautiful pictures and then she introduced her first novel with promises of sassy vampires and new  book boyfriends and I was hooked. She teased us with snippets and I couldn't wait to preorder it as soon as it was available and I'll tell you what it didn't disappoint!
I fell in love with all the characters,there's mystery your choice of book boyfriends (I think mine is Xander, though I love them all) and the ending I was actually sat on the end of my seat! I now spend my days stalking Lindsay page wait for updates and sneak peaks of book 2 which I need ASAP! If you're a fan of sassy vampires,need a new book boyfriend or are just looking for a good book please give this a read.

 The story of this wasn't what I was expecting but I really enjoyed it in fact it was probably much better than the story I thought it would be. I loved the writing style and will definitely be checking out more of Lumens books.
 Alannah is a really likeable character who only cares about the mothers she helps no matter that means. I found myself really rooting for Alannah and being invested in her quest for freedom. It had some great twists with those you thought would be good weren't and those I expected to be baddies where good! If you like fantasy/stories involving fae I would definitely recommend giving this a read!

I don't normally listen to audio books but when I got the invite to join in this book tour I thought this sounded like the perfect book to try it, and I wasn't disappointed,I really enjoyed it and like the narratiator (this is the one thing that put me off audiobooks) 
Widdershins is inspired by the Newcastle witch trials in 1650 where 15 women and 1 man where hanged as witches.
This book can be hard going at times (which the author warns you of) as unfortunately this isn't a pleased subject, and the fact it's based on true events makes it even worse, but to me I think its important to remember.
The story is told from 2 points of view John and Jane starting from when they are children to adulthood. In really liked how  characters and their stories developed . I can't say I liked the characters as although I liked Jane, John developed from a young orphan you feel sorry for to a horrible bitter young man full of prejudice and hate. The fact I disliked him so much shows how good the writing is to develop such a character. 
The book also had a few twists at the end and I'm looking forward to the second book Sunrise as part of the book tour

When I saw this was described as one for fans of Outlander I knew I had to give it a try! I was also slightly apprehensive as I adore Outlander so it had a lot to live up to.... and I think it actually did.
 We meet Maggie in the 80s where she has spent her life listening to her dad's stories only she soon learns they actually happened to him in real life when she is transported to the 1500s. 
 Although there not quite Claire, Jamie and  the rest of the Frasers I found the characters likeable (though 1 or 2 I loved to hate) and the story was really enjoyable. I often found myself shouting at Maggie and a few other characters which is always a good thing in my book and it left me on the edge of my seat! I can't wait to read the sequal
