After reading Ann's Feral Princess series I jumped at a chance to read this and actually did a happy dance when I found out I had made it into the tour! And I was right to be so excited I absolutely loved this book and I think its safe to say that Ann is now one of my favourite authors!
This book had everything secrets, magic, betrayal, amazing characters and a great storyline and not 1 but 4 book boyfriends to choices from (I'm turn between Rtan and Quinn) there is plenty of spice though I do feel like I was being teased as much as Bloss was well until that end scene 🌶. Though this book isn't just smut it has a real good enjoyable storyline and I can't wait to read the rest the series...especially with that ending!

When I saw this was for fans of Charliane Harris and as she's one of my fave authors i just had to read it and it didn't disappoint!
I really enjoyed the fact this was a bit of a spin on the usual wolf alpha story as the Alpha was a female who falls for a human man! I really liked Athena and Karen's relationship (and not just the spicy bits 🌶)
I also found all the characters likeable and liked seeing the dynamic between the twins and Athena/Kale, though I think Lincoln might be my favourite! (I love me some found family 😊)
I would have liked to see a bit more of the bad guy I felt was mentioned a few times and only really saw them at the end though im guessing/hoping this might be continued
I'll definitely be reading book 2 when it comes out especially after the slight cliffhanger ending and also I smell a love triangle coming and if you ask me you can't beat a love triangle

I'm unsure how I feel about this book there where parts I enjoyed. I like the premise of it but I just didn't seem to click with it. I liked seeing Aurora/Leigh/Ashleigh grow but as times she just came across as a bit woe is me. I also think I preferred her and Breydons relationship before they actually got together I enjoyed the tension between them. It also seemed to me like it was a strange combination of being a stand alone within a series maybe I would have enjoyed it more if I had read upspark first and helped me understand it a bit more

This book is the second in the Legend of lightning series. Whilst I enjoyed the first book I felt that it was lacking a bit of action and I thought this one might be the same and it was slightly for the first half but the second half was full of action with battle rescues and much more! I can't wait to see Esther continue to grow into her powers and her friendships develop and the characters such as Queen Cinder will get up to! And of course if and how Esther will defeat the red witch

I've recently discovered shifter/werewolf romance so when I saw this I thought I would give it a try.
I will admit I did find it quiet cheesy at times but overall u enjoyed it. It had a good story line and I like the lore in it, and I'll admit I'm a sucker for a unknown power/prophecy trope. The characters where likeable and I would have liked to get to know the tribe more I couldn't help but think this could have been dragged out a but more and made into a Trilogy.  If your after an easy 🌶 shifter romance I would definitely give this a read

I really enjoyed this book Ray had created an amazing, scary magical world! Peridot had always lived in an island with her mum Joe and Ann and lots of Animals. They keep hidden the fact that on the mainland humans are slaved to animals as well as the magick she holds! I really like Peridot and really felt her frustration at her mum keeping everything from her. There where also lots of other loveable characters and after the cliff hanger ending I can't wait to see what happens in book 2!

 ⛔CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR BOOK 1⛔
This book continues off where the first book Widdershins finished. This book concentrates more on the personal lives of Jane and John.
We follow Jane as she discovers that Tom is alive and Andrew tricked her into Marriage, taking over from her mother as a Midwife and planning to escape to the new world with Tom. I really liked Jane and was rooting for her and Tom the whole why through the book.
Then there's John who is just decending into if you ask me insanity! He see's everyone as evil continuing to accuse innocent people of witchcraft and blaming this for his own 'weakness' and when he gives into temptation.
Although I slightly enjoyed the first book more I still enjoyed this one even if it didn't have the happy ending I was hoping for. Again I really enjoyed the narratiation if this and will definitely be open to more audiobooks and will definitely read more books by Alison
