When I first spotted this I though it was right up my street someone falling into a magical world, with a bit of a who's the bad guy mystery thrown in what's not to like!
And luckily this lived up to expectations and I really enjoyed it! Hayden is a really likeable character and I enjoyed getting to know her! Destiny Falls is definitely magical and let's not forgot Sass Princess Latifa a cat who tries and most often manages to steal the show as well as the wolfdog Hercules.
Once Hayden is transported into the magical Destiny Falls its obvious that someone has it out for her and the rest of the family and it kept me guessing the whole way through who it was and I didn't have anyidea when the big reveal happened.
Overall I really enjoyed this book even if it was slightly cheesy at times but it was a lovely, happy, easy read and I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series to find out more about the mysterious Destiny Falls

I listended to this as after listeninf to Helens Widdershins series Unfortunately I just didn't gel with this one as much, it may have just been that I wasn't in the right frame of mind when listening to it? That being said it can't be denied that Helen is a talented author who creates interesting characters and you can tell lots of research has been but into her books. If your a fan of historical fiction I would definitely recommend giving Helens books a read/listen!

This is the second book in the Chronicles of Daniel Walsh series and after taking part in the tour for the first book last year and really enjoying it u was really excited to read the next installment.
Whilst I felt it didn't quite live up to the first book I still really enjoyed it! The author has created a really magical world and I really like the characters especially Finn and Trinity and enjoyed discovering more about them and their backgrounds. I also enjoyed seeing more of Gydion and finding out more about where the Shades come from and whilst I enjoyed the story and there was lots of action and twist and I love the magical world that has been built, I felt this book was maybe more of a build up to the final book which I am looking forward to reading to see how it all ends

This is the second book in the longest game series, and so far I'm really enjoying the series and it's getting better with each book! Inara is on the run trying to live a normal life but is soon asked to help her friend Yukie to free another friend from a magical prison! So it was basically a magical prison break I really like the idea/story behind this series and find all the characters really likeable despite the fact they all have there flaws. It does flick between different character POV which can be confusing at times but once I got to know the characters and got into the story. There's some elements of what's going on but I'm hoping this will start to become clear on book 3 (which I was very happy to see the author confirmed I his thank you at the end of the book)
