I really enjoyed this book, I really like Estrella and think I may have found a new book boyfriend in Caelum 😍. The tension between them is built brilliantly and when they give in the 🌶 is just *chefs kiss* 
But this book isn't just smut it has a great story and lots of lore! The twist at the end was fab even if slightly predictable.  I would definitely recommend reading Caelum POV bonus chapter roll on August for book 2!

It seriously has everything an amazing story lore, action, plot twists, even a little bit of 🌶 (which was sooooo good). 
It made me laugh, cry and had me guessing the whole way through! Ikenna is a brilliant main character struggling with grief, hiding her powers and having to learn how to live with and accept them whilst being told that it's evil. It's not just Ikenna that's brilliant but every single character is just *chefs kiss*
As well as being a brilliant story it also deals with racism as well as sexism
Please, please, please give this book a read! It's an amazing debut novel and I can't wait for book 2

 I read the first book in this series earlier this year and I really enjoyed it so I was excited to read the next installment. I love the world of Destiny Falls that Elizabeth has created as well as all the characters and enjoyed the hint of more romance to come (I'm team Jaxson) I love how each book has its own mystery to solve that also gives clues to a wider more complex mystery. I can't wait to read the rest of the series.
 This is just a lovely cosy mystery book/series perfect for cuddling up an reading with a cup of tea and a sassy cat if there's one available!
