So I originally started this at the beginning of the year and I got distracted by buddy reads and arcs and never finished it! So last week I decided to pick it up and finish it and I'm so glad I did.
This is such a lovely book and I can see why it's a booksta fave! I love the concept all the characters and the ending left me feeling all warm and fuzzy! Looking forward to reading Under the Whispering Door

I really enjoyed this book. Not only was the spice *chefs kiss* but the story was brilliant to so good in fact I preordered the second book when I was half way through and A Touch if Darkness will most definitely be moving up my TBR list.
I loved the tension between Adrian and Isolde and the spice 🌶 there was plenty of it and no waiting around till the end of the book Scarlett was straight in there no messing about. (Just what we like to see!)
But I also loved finding out about the history and how it isn't always what it seems! And how although Isolde wasn't exactly shy and unconfident to begin with I loved how she grew and became more comfortable in her own skin! I can't wait for book 2 in December when I can find what happens next

I loved the premise of this book but felt at times it feel a bit flat! 
I really liked Kyra and definitely wanting to have her back so she could be free and who she should be I felt the being of the book was a bit confusing and it didn't really get going until half way through.
I also really like Xander and despite the 🌶 being good I felt the build up could have had a bit more heat 
Overall whist I did enjoy this book and as much as I wanted to love it I just wasn't blown away by it 

So I love a dystopian novel and this one gave me Snowpiercer vibes... a mysterious train in a world that's frozen.
Though this book was actually quite different from what I was expecting but I enjoyed it.
I really liked Flint and her struggle to adapt to the new frozen world, though to be honest I liked all the characters and loved the relationship between Flint and Clout.
This book had lots of twist and turns and kept me guessing what was going on the whole way and I didn't guess it once.
I'm unsure of a book 2 is planned though I hope so as there are still lots of unanswered questions and it was left on a slight cliffhanger 
I would definitely recommend any dystopian fans give this book a read 

Wow, wow, wow!!!!
I absolutely adored this book, I've been a fan of the Foo Fighters and Dave Grohl since my boyfriend introduced me to the about 17 years ago, so I really wanted to read this.
I listened to the audiobook and I could seriously listen to Dave talk all day long. He tells amazing stories of all the amazing people he's meet and antics he got up to in his various bands. But not just this the way he speak of his friends,his wife, mum and daughters and the love he has for them was beautiful, I teared up when he spoke about his relationship with Taylor Hawkins.
This book made me laugh, cry and everything in-between and fall even more in love with the nicest man in rock! I would recommend this to fans and non-fans of Dave and the Foo Fighters (there will likely be a story about someone you are a fan of) especially the audiobook as it feels like Dave is telling you the stories personally.
Even better is the amazing Spotify playlist that goes with it

I really enjoyed the story and liked both Eve and Alucard and the tension  between them.... and the spice once it happened didn't disappoint 🌶
I thought Marcus was a great villan and loved that Eve isn't just your standard vampire and look forward to reading more if this series
