God I loved this book. They both came from traumatic past relationship and truly opened up to each other. The way that Ryan showed his quite love

I received this book as an ARC for my honest review and here it is.

Nora has been running for years from her past, which is totally relatable for so many. Thankfully she was able to get away from it but now she’s being chased by him which is just as equally scary.

Ford owns the gym that she goes to and of course he’s an absolute smoke show and player, until her. You know typical book boyfriend and the beginning of every good love story lol. Ford has some demons haunting him as well from his time in Afghanistan. The realness with Nora and Ford is amazing! I love that about the story.

Honestly I wish there was more of an ending and even an epilogue to see where they are in the future. While I’m sooooooo glad Nora is finally free we don’t know for sure that she is, you can assume but I wish that it was wrapped up just a little bit neater.

Overall it was a cute read!

This was such a cute love story. Fake dating and turning into real dating to heartbreak to love. You get all of the feelings in one book. Can’t wait to see what other hockey players we get a glimpse of!

Cute story but I honestly almost dnf half way through. It just became very repetitive and I could gave skimmed through and still understood what happened.

“You were never a pawn,” he says, his voice soft. “You were always my queen. Everyone knew it but you.”

I ate this shit up in just a few hours. He may be depraved but he has a sensitive side for her which I love! He will and did kill for her. Can I have my own serial killer with a soft side?!?!?!

“You’re lying on your bed, practically naked, with a serial killer tracing shapes on your body with his knife. Does that seem very rational to you?”

Loved the story. In the beginning felt like Friday the 13th with a love twist but I’m not mad at it. Only thing I would complain about it that I wish there was a follow up, like a few months from now, few years… something!!

Such a cute love story. Love in the making for half their lives. It was nice to see the man having the commitment issues when usually it’s the female. Nice to see. Lovvveed them together

I saw this pop up on my tik tok and let me tell you what got me was the husband in the background, so I went to check it out and once I started reading I just could not put it down. For this being a debut novel, I couldn’t believe it honestly.

I LOVED this story. How open and honest they were from the very beginning, chefs kiss

3.5 ⭐️ dark stalker romance. The love between remedy and cash is dark and twisted but it fits for them. Definitely dark but I liked it
