Got this book as an ARC for my honest review and here it is.

Holy gods. We pick up a week after they took Elodie and Arulius completely backstabbed her (still bitter about that). Then it hops to 6 months later. And the torture that Elodie has been through is insane, just for her blood.

There’s now a new dude added into the mix. Rune. He doesn’t talk except when they are together and as one and seems just as broken as Elodie. The way he gives her a tattoo with his blood so they are always bonded to continue to speak through to her

I loved this so much!! For the tables to be turned and the guy to love the girl for so long and the girl having to grovel! I loved it. I wish the ending was a bit more though. I wanted to know what happened with them once he went to Seattle. I want more!!!!

I absolutely loved this one! The ending was just so damn cute!! Rick the prick definitely earned that name, couldn’t stand him and I’m so glad he got what was coming for him at the end.
