What an interesting take on being stranded on an island.

Aleki has been stranded on an island for over 20 years. He's made it through like by learning and surviving. Which at only 10 years old, is an accomplishment in and of itself. He has only had a pig as a companion, that is until Maris comes to his island, yes his. He's been there long enough by himself, it is now his.

Now Maris, I don't know what it was but I did not like her as much and did not have a connection with her as a character. She was a bit whiny at times, and not in a good way. She was a grown adult but you wouldn't know it by the way she behaved.

Some parts seemed a bit unrealistic to me but I mean it's a fictional world so it didn't take too much away from my overall feelings. It definitely gave me a bit of George of the Jungle feelings, minus the whole raised by apes thing.

This was a warm hug on a cold gloomy day. This was coffee made just right. This was just the sweetest.

Dean and Preston were so cute. They were both awkward at times but so understanding. I really enjoyed their relationship and how it came to be. 

I loved loved loved the ranch. The misfit animals all found a place to call home. 

I would love for Beaker Ranch to be real to be able to go cuddle some cows and see all the animals.

Did I stop reading a book just to start this one? Yes. Yes I did. 
Did I devour this right up and read it in one sitting? Also yes. Yes I did. 

I loved these two so much. They had so much animosity towards each other and the tension. Holy tension. I was waiting for it to snap between them. It was either going to end up in a fight or in bed and thankfully both happened at the same time. 

The push and pull with these two, mostly Colt was intense. They both were trying to fight their feelings for so long that I wanted to shake some sense into both of them. 

Once they got over their stubbornness, they realized how much they grounded each other. I loved watching them slowly fall in love and come to terms with what they meant to each other. They honestly are a perfect match. 

I love these Darling brothers. They are such a great support system for each other and the love they have is incredible. 

Lawson is next and I have an idea for some tropes and I really hope I'm right.

I am OBSESSED with Dameon. 
The chemistry between these two was insane. I loved everything about them. While they had such chemistry there was so much more to them. 
They both had some struggles and my heart broke for them equally but I love how their story and relationship progressed.

Ummmm ok but why did I love this so much. I went in to this thinking this was going to be some crazy unhinged secret society read but was so pleasently surprised when it turned out to be so much more than that. 

I loved these two so much. Matt and Wy took me on an absolute rollercoaster of a ride and let me tell you, I loved every bit of it. I loved watching how these two began their friendship and how deep their bond ran, to the struggles they both encountered for so many years to finally reuniting and falling in love, only to realize they both loved each other all along. 

The secrets, whew, those kept me on my toes from start to end. Once everything started coming to light my heart broke for both men and everything they went through. 

Those brothers!! I loved all of them, I need more on them.

Cade is completely unhinged and with that little glimpse we get of the start of his book next, I can't wait!

Well Bella has done it again. Made me fall madly in love with yet another fictional man. 

These two were perfect. They were everything. I loved how they worked through their problems and were there for each other no matter what. 

I LOVED LOVED LOVVVVVVVVVED Lennon. She was royalty but you would never know it. She was so down to earth and so strong. She was underestimated time and time again but proved everyone wrong with how much she can handle. 

Maddox was knocked down a peg or two and finally got his woman. He has been pining for her for years and let me tell you, from the previous books, this man is no saint, but I liked how he took accountability and explained everything to Lennon. The way he stepped up and proved to Lennon that he was all in and has been from the beginning was amazing.

These two had such fire chemistry. I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed, while it was fast tracked, I think it was just the perfect push they needed to finally have the relationship they have both wanted for so long. Add in the perfect little surprise and they really are such a cute little family. 

Now that this series is wrapped up, I can't wait to dive in to the next series Bella has to offer us.

what a cute read and the disability rep that was portrayed, just incredible.

Deo was the absolute sweetest. I wanted to wrap him in a hug and never let go. I love when he finally stood up for himself. 

Tucker took me a little bit to warm up to. He just seemed abrasive and a massive prick at times. He slowly warmed up to me when he showed that he was more than his words. 

I loved the family dynamic in this one. They were absolutely hilarious and always joking around but when it came down to it they were each others biggest supporters. 

I'm interested in Bode's story next and how it plays out.

Jude and Mila were perfect. She was chaotic and he was orderly. She loved junk food and he, well he despised it. They were opposites in so many ways but they fit together so perfectly. 

While we got a lot of the suspense aspect we also got an even amount of romance. I really enjoyed how their relationship progressed. They had a lot going on but the way they came together as a team, in more ways than one, really was incredible. 

I was sucked in from the beginning, my heart raced so many times throughout this book that I thought something was wrong. The action was intense and we finally got all the answers to what was going on. 

We have come to the end of the series. What a bittersweet goodbye. I'm sad to be leaving the Lumbersnack's known as the Hebert's brothers but this ending was PERFECT!!!

cute low angst read but it took me awhile to get in to. maybe it was the writing style or something was lacking for me overall but it was a meh read for me.
