Seth was an irritating character in the first book in the series. However this book really highlighted him in a different light. He was extremely hurt and in turn reacted the way he did. I get it, still irritating but I get it.
I enjoyed Declan and Seth together. I feel as though they complimented each other. That is until Declan unnecessarily overreacted and pushed Seth away. Why? Just why???
Overall a quick read, even though mildly irritating at times.

I've been wanting more on Jed and Artie since the first book and they didn't disappoint.
I absolutely loved and adored Artie. He was so sweet and wholesome. He's caring and puts others first. It broke my heart to see the things he went through as a kid and then what Jed put him through. I was so glad when he would stand up for himself.
Lets talk about Jed. Ugh that man irritated me a bit. He's still mourning the loss of his husband who we find out later in the book he was planning on leaving. Ummmm excuse me if you were planning on leaving and knew that relationship wasn't going to work why did you treat Artie the way you did. Uuuggghhhh
I was happy when Jed pulled his head out of his a** and corrected his wrongs.
Overall cute read.

Kai and Carter are from rival families and absolutely enemies, I mean these guy throw punches every time they see each other. They find their families under attack and on the verge of war. Their dad's solution, an arranged marriage to solidify their families.
These two were true enemies to lovers. I loved the tension from them, they fought hard but loved even harder. I really enjoyed watching these two progress the way they did. They formed bond and connection and man were they hot together.
I absolutely hated Kai's dad and think he deserved everything he got in the end. The suspense and the mafia vibes kept me entertained up to the end.
Interested to see where this series will go.

I am so happy to be back in Midtown Memorial after the last book. I was left with so many questions that were finally answered.
I've wanted more on Wes since he was first introduced. Wes has always been known as the playboy, the joker, selfish, a complete jerk. His book put him in such a different light. While he was like that in the past he has changed significantly since having his son, Carter. He is now more serious, puts others before himself and has only one woman on his mind, Caroline.
I love Caroline so much. She is more reserved but has so much more to her. After seeing her point of view on things, you can just tell she is drowning and has so much pressure on her shoulders regarding medical school. Wes grounded her so much and I loved that for her.
Watching these two progress was incredible. Caroline with Carter was adorable. They had such a strong connection and those scenes 🥵
This was bittersweet. I have loved each and every one of these characters and now we have to say goodbye. What a great ending to the series!

Dalton finds himself on the run with his son and under the protection of Sid. These two have a complicated past and while they are quick to talk about everything that happened they are even quicker to realize that the sparks still fly between them.
While running for their lives, these two get tangled up in more than just the sheets. So much is uncovered while trying to save Dalton's life. Betrayals, lies, corruption, greed and so much more. It's honestly sickening to think and know things like that exist in this world.
There was so much to these two. They are complete opposites but they balance each other out so well. Sid's dry humor to Dalton's seriousness. These two fit each other like missing puzzle pieces, they just worked.
I love how accepting Sid was of Owen and how he ensured that he was safe and protected at all times. Sid may not know how to be a father but he did everything he could to do right.
I really enjoyed the characters within The District. It was nice to see them all together and the family dynamic of it all. I absolutely loved Easton and I'm so excited we get more on him next.
What a doozy of a ride. This kept me on my toes the whole time and was action packed. I loved every minute of it. Definitely check those trigger warnings. There's some tough situations that are talked about throughout.

HOLY SCORCHIN HOTNESS 🥵
Marsh has known JT ever since he was born. He's never looked or thought of him as anything other than his best friends son. He finds himself on a kink app and ends up messaging, unbeknownst to him, JT. Things escalate pretty quickly from there.
Going in to their relationship they had an understanding, no outside feelings and they would only have scenes and play, but of course, it's never that simple. At that point I knew it was going to crash and burn in epic proportions at some point. Boy did it ever.
While A LOT of this book, at least like 85% was straight up kinky goodness, there was also heart, and feelings and emotions. Marsh and JT truly understood each other and could be their authentic self without fear or worry of judgement.
This is not the typical Riley Hart read but it was still so so good!

This was a new to me author.
Harper is trying to start new and is running from her past. For everything that she has been through she has this incredible strength about her. She is guarded and on edge around anyone new but some how Nolan worms his way in to her life and stays.
I will say that a lot of times i felt that the story was a bit rushed and extremely repetitive. I think that if it was slowed down a but and just a bit longer to go in depth with the items that were rushed, it would have portrayed things in a better way and improved the overall read for me.
I will also say that I felt that I knew everything that was going to happen and the blurb explained it all as well that it didn't led me up to anything. It was predictable for me so I knew what was going to happen, the only suspense aspect for me was when it was going to happen in the book.

I've never read a book that had storm chasing in it but after reading this I want to find more out there. There was such a a thrill while reading this and the details made it feel as if I was in the middle of the tornado right along with them.
Ryker and Fin both mutually pinned after each other but never acted on it due to the professor student dynamic. They get stuck in a tornado together, seriously they were in the middle of the tornado in a ditch holding on for dear life to the ground. Pretty traumatic if you ask me lol, but I mean that would have my feelings go haywire too, and they finally crossed that line.
They both were so enamored with storms and storm chasing, it was hard not to feel what they were feeling. They had their moments of no we can't do this, but threw caution to the wind and gave it a shot. I liked how they both were making sacrifices to ensure they had the chance of a future together.
I absolutely loved all the characters. They were all so fun and Joey had me cracking up at everything that came out of this mouth. I really hope we get a book with him and Hawk.

Delaney finds herself back in her hometown of Willowbrook, the place she thought she would never step foot back in after being ran out of town as a pregnant 16 year old. Ten years later and this town still holds a special place in her heart, as well as the father of her amazing son, Cade. I absolutely loved Delaney and Cade. Delaney is such a strong and incredible woman and an amazing mom, Cade is the absolute sweetest.
Trace did everything he could to prove his love to Delaney and Cade once they were in his life. Trace has always known that Delaney was endgame but let his horrible wretched woman of a mother Regina, have a say in his life for far too long. The things he went through during those ten years were horrible. The things Regina and Chelsea connived and executed were horrible.
I will say that the whole thing with Chelsea bothered me a bit, she had a semi major role in the beginning and then just poof she was gone, nothing at all. umm what??? why??? Why make her have such a big role/impact in the beginning and then just have her disappear without another word from her?? I mean don't get me wrong, I was happy she was out of their lives, but I felt the whole thing was just left unfinished.
Holy rollercoaster this took me on. The amount of grief, hurt, secrets, lies and betrayal, it was absolutely devastating and it took away ten years from Trace, Delaney and Cade's life that they will never get back. I loved how they overcame everything and really put in an effort to be the family they always deserved to be.
This was a new to me author and her debut novel. This was a great debut and I'm really looking forward to more in this series.

I really loved Gore that sweet unhinged chaotically insane man. He was hilarious at times but wore his heart on his sleeves and was so sensitive. He had such a range of emotions that he wasn't afraid to show and express and at times my heart hurt for him. what he went through, it gutted me 😭 Gore must be protected at all costs 🥺
Bel hid his feelings behind being a brat, anger and outbursts but he hid his true emotions well to ensure protecting Gore. While extremely toxic and codependent, Bel and Gore's love was really sweet. He was always the protector, the caretaker and when Mammon came into the picture, he was finally getting taken care of in return and could put himself first instead of Gore.
Mammon, man I wanted to strangle him at times. I know how his mind worked with being in charge and keeping everything in order but the things he did to Bel and Gore was heartbreaking. When he finally got his head on straight, he was all about protecting his Kitten and Princess and would do anything for them.
The tension, the suspense, the feelings, the chaotic mess of Bel and Gore, these three were insane in all the right ways. The scenes with just couples was hot 😮💨 but the three of them together, it was insanely hot 🥵 They took me on such a wild ride but I was here for it all.
