Noah, the baby wearing dad. You sir, are incredible. I loved him so much. He was so sweet, caring, protective and would do anything for his girls. The way he was with Tessa was so beautiful, she may not have been his, but he was the perfect dad to her.  

Victoria is such a strong character. She has a heart of gold and cares so much for others. Her family and the way they treated her made me sick. I was so glad when she finally stood up to them all. 

The build up these two had was incredible. I loved how their relationship progressed. They had such a strong friendship before crossing any lines and becoming more. 

The suspense aspect was nice. We learned a little more of the shenanigans happening with the Hebert's land and the town. That ending leading up to the next and final book in the series 😯 I can't wait!!

Trent and Kian met when they were teenagers and had a whirlwind friendship that turned in to so much more. They both had really horrible home lives and relied on each other quite a bit. 

Trent had a really hard time dealing with everything and fell down a pretty destructive path. As the years go by Trent gets worse until Kian can't stand to see him that way anymore. Something happens and absolutely destroys the HEA they always thought they would have.

Separation was the best thing these two had. The two years apart allowed them the time to find and work on themselves. I will say there were things that I wished were talked about more that were mentioned a few times, like Trent's tattoos, it hints that Ki knew about them but I would have loved to see the discussion of them talking more about each one. I would have also loved to see Ki reading the journal entries, to see that raw vulnerable moment between them would have been beautiful.

I love that when they came back together they worked hard on communication and gave each other the truth, no matter if it would hurt or not. These two fought HARD for the HEA they always hoped they would get. I felt as if everything they went through just proved that they were soulmates and their love can withstand anything.

This put me through all the feelings. What a beautiful debut from the author!

These two made me feel so many feelings. I was blushing, laughing, sweating from their passion and chemistry, I mean Ch. 26 🫠 IYKYK. These two were everything. I loved the connection they had outside of the bedroom as well. Ace showed her that she deserved everything and that she was worth so much. 

Another book absolutely devoured by C.L. and they just keep getting better and better. I can not wait for what else she has to offer.

Hayden instantly becomes obsessed after seeing Madi for the first time. As time went on, somehow, he became more and more obsessed. That man would do anything and everything for Madi. He was possessive AF, unhinged AF but he cared so deeply for Madi and loved her so much.
 
I loved the found family Madi got. She was strong but deserved all the love and protection she got. Tristan and Winter already have my heart and I just know their story will absolutely destroy me. Callum is so unhinged that he gives Hayden a run for his money but I love the little family they have. In all their unhinged glory.

The camo we got of Ramsey Blackwood!!! Ahhhh I was not expecting that but I loved it so much. I loved the glimpses we got of him in the Wicked Brothers of SCU series so having him in this series made my heart so happy!!

The suspense kept me on my toes trying to figure things out. PLOT TWIST: I did NOT see that coming! I can't wait to see what else we get in this series!!

These two are both so sweet but Rhett holds back quite a bit due to his previous relationship with a terror of a woman. He is trying to do right for his two son's but also wants to do right by Paige. He definitely struggles and some of the things he says and puts Paige through made me cringe a bit. He finally got his act together and I was so happy. 

Paige has a heart of gold. She is headstrong and is so easy to love. She's fierce and loves Rhett's two boys as if they were her own.

There's tension, suspense, hot cowboys, and so much more. I'm so excited to see what else happens with this series.

Lenni and Cam met freshmen year and spent hours talking. Fast forward years later and Lenni has no idea the guy in her class is the same person. 

Lenni had some things happen in her past but the first half of the book she irked me a little, ok honestly she irked me a little throughout the whole book. The way she was fawning over Reeve seemed a bit desperate for what she was trying to accomplish then the push and pull of Cam really set me over. 

Cam was the absolute sweetest and was not the typical jock. He was definitely misunderstood. Their relationship was based on a lot of misunderstanding which I felt fell the majority on Lenni. 

It took me a bit to get in to the book, I didn't really feel a connection to any of the characters.

Shilo was the absolute sweetest. He was so timid but I loved watching him break out of his shell little by little and open up. My heart broke even more for him for everything that Ryann put him through. 

I have to be real honest, as someone who has struggled with the same thing as Shilo, I can really relate to him. The struggles, the mind tricks, the love/hate relationship, the things he went through are very real and it was honestly nice to see it portrayed with a male. There is normally such a stigma around those things and I thought that it was handled with such care and incredibly done. 

It took me a bit to warm up to Ryann honestly. He had his own demons he was battling but the things he did to Shilo made my heart hurt. I was happy when he started to realize his wrongdoings and make a change but I felt that there wasn't enough effort put in and Shilo should have made him grovel so much more.

I loved the cameo from Huck and Tay we got!! I hope we get more in this world, especially with KC and Carpenter 🫣

This was such a cute quick sweet novella. 

I wish I had a Julian. He is the absolute sweetest. I mean that man upped his entire life and drops a cool $15 mil for a first date. Like ummmm keep the money, give me the man with that kind of love. 

Honor was so down to earth. She was shocked that Julian did everything he did but realized that he was real with his intentions and very much wanted her. They both had been pining for each other for so long I was happy when they finally gave in too each other. 

There two were the cutest. Loved them. My only thing was that I wish it was a little longer. At times it felt a bit rushed and with if it was a bit longer we would get more of this amazing couple and more of their story.

Did I stay up way to late to read this? Yes. 
Did I read it all in one sitting and give up all responsibilities until I finished? Yes, yes I did. 
Do I regret it? Nope, not one bit. 

I ate this up. Devoured it. Lyla has done it again. Wrote a book and put everything in to it. The feels, the emotions, the rawness of everything. Absolute perfection. 

Oh my beautiful broken Gavin 😭 From what we know of him from the first book, I just knew I needed more on him and that he would crush me. I wanted to wrap him up in a giant hug and never let him go. He was so traumatized, dragged himself down such a horrible self destructive path but finally with the help of Beck, saw his worth and began to change for the better. Gavin's dad got off too easy in my opinion. I wanted more pain and suffering for what he did to Gavin. 

Beck was such a saving grace to Gavin. I love how he was there for him even after everything Gavin did to him. He never actually gave up on him and fought to show Gavin how special and worth living he was. 

Their connection was undeniable. Their chemistry was HOT 🥵. I just loved everything about these two. They had to fight extremely hard for their HEA but it made it all the better when they got to that point.

These two will live forever rent free in my head 🩷

Kilo's Edge takes place in the Phoenix chapter of the Saint Outlaws. It's action packed and just like with every MC book, there are hot bikers that are extremely possessive of their woman. 

Kilo finally meets his new neighbor and is instantly drawn to her. She gives him a run for his money at first but finally gives him a chance. I enjoyed their connection though at times it felt a bit rushed. 

I think the thing I enjoyed most in the book was the found family aspect. It was so strong. Even not having read any previous books where several of the side characters from other chapters are from, you could yell how close knit everyone was.
