“You are going to be mine, Elodie Stillwater. Of all my sins and misdeeds, making you fall in love with me will be the very worst of them all.”

And boy oh boy did Wren get Elodie to fall in love with her. Wren was so misunderstood but I really feel like Elodie had a big part in helping him come into himself. The pain that Elodie went through as child was unbelievable, her father truly deserves worse than he got. And the twist with the mystery, crazy!!

“Stellaluna. Stars and moon. You’re way more beautiful than the night sky, Carrie. And…I dunno. Carrie just doesn’t seem to fit you somehow.”

Carrie. Carina. Hannah. Stella. Whatever you want to call her, is one strong woman. What she went through in her childhood then running and being in fear for so long had proven how strong she is. And dash, oh dash. I loved him.

“A new beginning sounds perfect. So long as I’m allowed to love you right out of the gate.”

Some complaints
1. There was a lot of the story especially in the middle that I was able to skim through because a lot of it was in Riot House and just felt really repetitive and not needed.
2. The ended felt soooo unfinished for them

“I welcome the day I lose my mind, Chase. At least then, when I’ve truly lost it, I’ll be oblivious to the fact. I’ll just be crazy. Nothing in the world will matter anymore. I want you to be mine. I—I’m fucking in love with you, Chase. I want to learn how to show you that. I want to make you fucking believe it.”

“I love you, too. I am yours,” I whisper. “I have been since the second I woke up on that sidewalk outside the hospital and I saw you looking down at me. From that moment on, you’ve held my entire existence in the palm of your hand.”

Oh Pax and Presley, 2 beautiful damaged, broken souls. They found love the only way they know how, through hurt and secrets. Presley went through a lot with her brother and Pax was right there for her to heal. Loved the story and them just wish the ending showed them out in the future more. Feels unfinished.

4.2/5 ⭐️

This book gripped me right from the beginning. These brothers all have a piece of my heart a little.

Malice/nick- he’s got so much guilt in him over Anthony and running the empire that it passes on over to his relationships and I think Juliet is the one to break him of that. The way that he began to become so possessive of her towards the end of the book, loved it chefs kiss
