this book was gothic romance and it was an amazing read!!

Corvina is badass and so strong And Vad?! Can I have this morally gray man in my life. What I wouldn’t give for him. This wasn’t just romance but a mystery as well and i did not. DID. NOT. see that twist coming at all. I loved that they got their own HEA, in their own terms.

Holy cow what did I read. The emotional rollercoaster this took you on. I was there for it every step of the way. The lies and deceit that was found out made my heart drop. Then the pain and hurt that followed that was intense but the love that flourished through all of that. BEAUTIFUL!!

The plot twist towards the end had my jaw on the floor. But the HEA they all, including the kids, got. Absolutely incredible, beautiful and well deserved.

This was such a slow burn but once the match was lit, it took off. Taralynn and Shawn have known each since they were 5 and grew up together. You could tell there has been something therefrom the beginning, I mean taralynn has expressed it but Shawn, shawn has a frickin tattoo of a beautiful woman with a purple dress!! A purple dress that Taralynn wears when meeting him for the 1st time at 5!! Come on he loves her then but just didn’t know it.

Complaints
1. Why did the brother have to die?!?!?
2. Calling someone weak because they committed suicide is wrong on so many levels
3. The grammatical errors were small but enough that I took note of
4. The twist with the mom I kinda saw coming and it was kinda just quickly talked about then left alone
