Harley (40) is a confident, big muscly, tattooed former SEAL, from a humble background who works as a bodyguard. Ambrose (41) is from a well known Hollywood family, the creator of a popular TV show and suffers from a panic disorder. He also is the proud and loving owner of an emotional support dog named Hercules that weighs 5kg and gets carried around in a padded bag.
Whilst Harley is working security at a location shoot for the popular TV show, Ambrose is attacked. This leads to a series of circumstance that have these highly likeable men being fake boyfriends at a family event. Being polar opposite’s doesn’t dampen the chemistry between them and before long heated smexy times begin. Harley and Ambrose both feel and acknowledge the emotions between them but a miscommunication due to their fears and doubts does create some minor angst on the way to their HEA.
I found this to be a very enjoyable and interesting read that kept me fully engaged from start to finish. Characters from the two previous books in the series make appearances but this can be read as a standalone.

Oh my heart ❤️
It feels like every time I read a new book by this author I decide that these two new main characters are my new favourite. Even when a couple of other favourites have cameo appearances!
Wren and Matteo are just so well written. Wren is so witty and optimistically cheerful despite a less than favourable life whilst Matteo comes from wealth and appears to have it all. Circumstances bring them together in Majorca and so begins a friendship where they truly get to know one another. A friendship that morphs into more where, unwilling to part from Wren, Matteo invites him to his home in Venice. All is not smooth sailing due to toxic family members and a couple of other issues but even though their HEA is threatened it is not derailed.
This a a beautifully written romance that is a heartfelt and heartwarming story of two men’s journey of discovery, the discovery of love and what the important things in life are. There’s the customary Lily Morton witty banter, a great cast of interesting side characters, an enjoyable and engaging plot and some feels to contend with.
Highly recommended!

What a little gem. A sweet, romantic book with two wonderful characters Lyall and Nick. They are both so likeable that it makes easy to connect with them. A well written book with an interesting plot line that kept me engaged. A lot of fun, a bit of angst and a loving but at times interfering family made for an overall enjoyable, easy read.
This is my favourite of the series so far. Luca has the whole ‘old world mobster” vibe going on but is making the effort to change is business model for the better. Ford is a virgin billionaire with a heart of gold and a head for numbers.
Together these two wonderful characters embark on a beautiful romance filled with snark, banter, super sweet balanced with lots of heat and plenty of major swoon moments. Of course it all leads to a well deserved HEA for them both.
I loved every moment of this hurt/comfort virgin/playboy romance and really enjoyed their found family from previous books making appearances. There’s a connection to the Rebel Sky ranch series and a nod to the Wrecked Guardians series but you can read this as a standalone but I’d recommend indulging yourself and reading them all!

Actions have consequences, even for a shameless hockey player.
Oskar is an extremely talented professional hockey player who’s also extremely talented at getting into trouble off the ice. Trouble that involves CCTV footage of an exhibitionist nature requiring damage control from team PR Manager Lane.
Lane pushes back against Oskar who can be immature and bratty at times. That did annoy me a bit but Oskar did turn the corner when he and Lane got together. The forced proximity and the forbidden romance elements certainly added to the combustible chemistry between them. When ignited it could go either way - super heated or sweet and tender - depending on the circumstances and if the exhibitionist aspect came into play.
I enjoyed this and was left smiling when Oskar and Lane got their HEA with only a dash of angst, not from their relationship but from an external source. I also loved all the numerous cameos from across the earlier hockey books.
