This is such a wonderful, low angst romance with 2 terrific main characters and a quirky cast of side characters. Malachi shines so bright that he pulls Julian back into a light filled world. I adored how Malachi would nervously ramble on and the banter between him and Julian had me laughing so much. The letters made my heart experience so many feels as did the pure way Julian and Malachi’s romance blossomed.
A truly beautiful read once again from this author.

Absolutely brilliant.
Wow, this instalment of the Hidden Species series was a one sitting, don’t want to end read. Hooked me in and wouldn’t let me go.
Alistair is the most quirky, weird, dangerously competent Hellhound that can be oh so loveable. He knows the power of his puppy dog eyes and pouty bottom lip and is not afraid to use it. Adrian, the species leader finds that he has little resistance to the sexy Hellhound. There’s plenty of chemistry between them and before too long Alistair has to reassess his no relationship status and enjoys informing others that Adrian is his “lover”.
The overall story arc continues and there certainly are some unexpected twists along the way which keep things very interesting.
All of the characters from the previous books are featured and they do provide plenty of comic relief. As Noah says, “.......they’ve sucked me into the vortex of their idiocy.”
This is a truly enjoyable, entertaining and engaging read with minimal angst, humour and a cast of interesting characters trying to save the world.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough and it would be of great benefit to read the other books first.

Wonderful read with lots of feels.
Lisa Henry has given us another superbly crafted book with characters that have found a place in my heart.
Marco is a world renowned rock star with the typical rock star image. An image that masks the compassionate and patient person that he really is. Ben is such an innocent soul after a lifetime of fundamentalist doctrine and the struggle between his faith and his sexuality has almost broken him.
Circumstances bring these two amazing men together and through some beautifully sensitive writing we see the struggles Ben has being slowly but surely taken out, examined and exposed for what they are. After his journey of self discovery Ben is able to live his truth. All with the kind and caring Marco being a pillar of support, who even with a couple of insecurities of his own to deal with, patiently gives Ben the space he needs.
There’s lots of feels, humour and quiet acts of bravery as these two men journey to their heartfelt HEA.
I love this instalment in the Star Crossed series and eagerly await more.
