4.5 stars. Lots of feels in this heartwarming Christmas read.

Watching Jude come to terms with what he believed to be the truth regarding the death of his mother whilst giving birth, and what the truth was revealed to be had my heart aching for him. There’s so much emotional turmoil for Jude but with the help of Cope and all of their found family, on both sides of the veil, a resolution is found that left me smiling so hard and my heart feeling so very happy.
There’s also the joy of seeing all the Dad’s going just a smidge crazy with Christmas presents for all the kids, an hilarious visit to Santa at the mall and everyone getting what they wished for - a wonderful family Christmas together.

4.5 stars.
Miller and Darius are both such likeable characters that I couldn’t help but love them.
Darius downsizes his life and loves baking in his small town bakery where he gets to meet the very sweet Miller who has an air of sadness about him. They both feel the instant connection between them, so take their time over the next few days getting to know each other as Miller escapes to the bakery when he feels overwhelmed by his large and boisterous extended family. Speaking of which, it’s so good seeing all the crazy Wilde/Marian family members back in one place together.

This is a very enjoyable and engaging romance set against the backdrop of Christmas.
There’s minimal angst, lots of laughter and some feels as Miller and Darius hurtle towards their HEA - with plenty of comments from the meddlesome family members!

This is a great story about two men who have a less than favourable first meeting which eventually becomes a beautiful HEA.

Archer is sassy, witty, flirty and pretty. All the things that grumpy Fletcher despises as they remind him of his ex husband. They have a disastrous first meeting which only encourages Archer to annoy Fletcher at each subsequent meeting. Even though they profess to loathe each other the chemistry between them is scorching and does lead to some very heated times even whilst still hating each other.

Slowly but surely Fletcher peels away the protective walls Archer has built around himself and begins to like what he sees. Consequently the grumpiness recedes and Fletcher becomes a much happier and funnier person. The main characters are surrounded by some wonderful side characters especially Hank the ageing dray queen.

This is an enjoyable and engaging low angst romance that flowed along nicely. I look forward to more in the series.

4.5 stars. A wonderful finale to a fantastic series.

This was a bittersweet read for me as it’s the end of the Chester Falls series. A series that’s made me laugh, cry and smile as all the characters caught their forever man and in this finale, a new couple also find their own HEA.
Tom and Wren’s wedding preparations bring everyone together from planning stages to the bachelor parties in Vegas and finally the big day itself. There’s colour, glitter, sparkle and shine. There’s strippers (not what you’d expect), another Vegas wedding (maybe not who you’d expect) and soon to be parents (earlier than expected)!

The multiple POV makes for an engaging and enjoyable read as everyone gets the opportunity to close out their story in a way that left a huge smile in my face.

This is a beautiful way to end the series and everything is all tied up nicely just like the bow on a wedding bouquet.

Once again the crew from Wellstone Private Investigators find themselves involved in a case that involves plenty of mayhem.

Cassel has been crushing on policeman Jeremy (Jerebear) for months without making any progress. It may be his rather unfortunate wooing skills and/or the fact that Jeremy is pretty oblivious to it all. Circumstances finally have them working together and so begins all sorts of mayhem as they bring down the bad guys.

Naturally Leland, Jackson and Henry are along for the ride ensuring lots of hilarity involving silks and spandex, Leland’s armoury, Fred the possible serial killer and car chases.

I laughed out loud on too many occasions to count whilst reading this very enjoyable and engaging book. The romance is low heat and focuses more on the development of the relationship between Cassel and Jeremy who both have parts of their lives that remain hidden for a reason. They are wonderfully developed characters and I cheered them on from beginning to end where Cassel finally got his longed for HEA with Jeremy.

This is book one in the Former Assassins Guide Book series and I can’t wait for more.
