This whole series has been amazing and this final instalment did not disappoint. It’s all so real - real emotions, real deep unconditional love, patience and hope, real chosen family, real friendships - and so brilliantly written. It’s all I hoped for and so much more.

This is well crafted book with an original plot, a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters, good pacing that kept me turning the pages and great world building.
The very likeable Jude and Roman come together to keep the world safe from magical monsters. They find themselves inexplicably drawn to each other but circumstances don’t permit their union. Jude is told that duty is above all else, fighting monsters is what his family does and that’s that!
The secondary cast is full of interesting characters and I fell in love with Roger, the sweetest troll ever to exist.
Combine minimal angst, a couple of heated moments, some action and a dash of drama and you’re left with a very enjoyable and engaging read.
The author tells us that there is more to come in Jude and Roman’s story and I can’t wait.

I was very much looking forward to this third instalment in the Licking Thicket series and it did not disappoint.
Dunn and Tucker are best best friends and have been for years. Unfortunately for Tucker, Dunn is straight. Dunn is also wonderfully oblivious and I really just wanted to give him a big squishy hug. Tucker can’t stop his feelings for Dunn and at times it wrenched my heart on his behalf. They really did know each other inside out even before Dunn finally recognised what his feelings for Tucker actually were. The heat level then dialled up a notch as they explored the chemistry between them.
The road to their HEA is littered with obstacles - interfering people, lack of
communication, new emerging emotions, but they do eventually get there with help from some of the meddling side characters.
This is very enjoyable and I read it in one sitting. This well crafted story includes a bit of angst, some feels and a delightful cast of main and secondary characters. Highly recommended.

Action and hilarity aplenty.

Another brilliant book in the series that had me laughing from the start and eagerly turning the pages desperately wanting to know what happens next in this adventure.

Jackson and Leland are having to figure out who is trying to kill Jackson all whilst Leland once again smothers him with overprotective ness. With the usual snark, witty banter, sarcasm and a bullet proof vest as well as some more over the top “Leland” type safety measures.
Leland also has to deal with a lot of feels. He still as problems dealing with emotions, overwhelming love that makes his chest hurt and leaves him feeling weird and gross, and overwhelming pain that leaves him determined.

There’s a few twists in the tale to keep you guessing, lots of action, romance that’s a mix of sweet and tender and steamy heat, edible underwear, car chases, the best side character ever - The Fence, and wedding vows that are pure Leland! Yep, these two wonderfully loveable characters finally get their wedding.
I’m very excited to see where their next adventure leads them.

The overall story arc continues with twists and turns that keep things interesting and intriguing. Quinn and Rowan finds themselves as a pack within a pack striving to make things better for all. It doesn’t stop their witty banter/one liners/deadpan humour although it does put a dampener on the steamy times but they do manage to squeeze in some.
There’s a great balance between the comedy and action elements that keep the plot flowing, a bit of angst, a cardboard box and the dilemma and hilarity of shifting whilst fully clothed.
The larger pack is ready to continue the battle in the third and final book which is nicely set up at the end.
This is not a standalone so please read book 1 first.

This is a really enjoyable read with some of my favourite tropes - grumpy guy/cocky guy, fake relationship, enemies to lovers. Jackson is a cowboy who definitely doesn’t swoon whilst Baha is a grump who definitely doesn’t like Jackson. They are both strong characters so put them in a cabin on with only one bed, some angry rough housing and before you know it their relationship takes a different turn. Their chemistry doesn’t ignite immediately but Jackson’s flirtations finally come to fruition and things heat up between them.
I enjoyed the funny witty moments and the action surrounding the recovery of the fossils. Overall a very enjoyable read and I look forward to more in the series.
