What a wonderful start to a new series. This is a beautiful friends to lovers, bi awakening romance with feels. It’s very well crafted with perfect pacing that made it flow along seamlessly and the character development was on point.
Roo and Tanner are so easy to love. Roo with his snark and sarcasm and Tanner with his all round sweetness and positive attitude. Inseparable until Roo moves for medical reasons but then returns 5 years later. They always had amazing chemistry but Tanner is really oblivious and confused to what that actually means to him. It takes some time for it all to click into place but once it does Tanner is very much on board. Think affectionate tender moments combined with steamy times.
I was so enthralled with their journey from best friends to lovers that I read this in one sitting and couldn’t put it down. If you’re after a lowish level angst, medium heat, beautifully written friends to lovers romance then I highly recommend this book. There is also a sneaky little peek as to which of the very interesting side characters may feature in the next instalment....can’t wait for more!

Feel good fake boyfriend

This is such an easy, sweet, light, feel good read. The book was interesting and flowed nicely so I didn’t feel the need to skim over any sections.
The two main characters, Kris and Charlie are really likeable and with almost instant chemistry just waiting to combust. When it did it certainly increased the heat level.
Although there was no angst, there were a couple of little speed bumps but that didn’t stop them from getting their HEA.
Some interesting side characters have me intrigued and I look forward to further instalments in the series.

WOW - 5 stars of wonderful.

Oh how I loved Shay and Josiah.
Both are strong and self confident, sassy and snarky and love bickering and teasing each other. Lots of witty banter kept me laughing and I really enjoyed how they weren’t without flaws. Add in some feels and amazing chemistry, which turns up the heat levels when they get their act together and you are left with a beautiful romance and a sweet HEA.
This is a superbly written story and the perfect pacing kept me turning the pages. The tropes of enemies to lovers, age gap, older brothers ex and amnesia are brilliantly intertwined thanks to the authors wonderful story telling ability plus there’s also a bit of mystery thrown in to keep you fully engaged. A couple of interesting side characters are set up for the next instalment and I adored the minor character Jordie - he made me smile every time he appeared.
This is a true 5 star low angst read that I highly recommend. It’s my favourite in the series but the others are also fantastic!

WOW! Absolutely brilliant.

For what I term the “technical” side of things, this book had it all.
Very well written with so many layers, twists and turns to the plot line, superb character development, perfect pacing that kept me engaged and had me turning the pages to see what happens next and originality. Two very likeable main characters with amazing chemistry with plenty of steam and a wonderful cast of side characters to keep things interesting.
What else did I enjoy?
The snark, fun and banter between Rain and Daniel and their complete understanding that their relationship is unique to them and theirs alone through all the ups and downs.
The feels, that ranged from laughter to heart in my mouth to “aww”moments.
The ghosts, their stories and how some were really nice and others were just a downright creepfest.
Basically I just loved everything about this book and the series as a whole. I cannot recommend The Spectral Files series highly enough.

The writing style of this author and the way she develops her characters is always first class. This book flowed along so nicely and kept me engaged from the very beginning.
Parker and Jason were once the best of friends with so much history, both good and heartbreaking. That history made it hard for Parker to forgive and left Jason full of guilt, remorse and heartache.
Six years later they see each other again. This meeting reinforces for Parker that he’s only ever loved Jason and Jason determines that he won’t run away from the truth again. The chemistry is still there between them but they take their time as it’s more important for them to get their friendship back again.
The heat levels rise exponentially when they decide to make a go of their second chance.
This is a beautiful gay for you second chance romance in which we also get to visit again with Parker’s found family. There’s also a bit of angst, lots and lots of feels and a long awaited HEA for these very loveable main characters.
