What a great start to the Iron Heretics MC series. We did get introduced to Pax and Mace in the Cold Light Assassins Criminal Delights Book 14.
In this well written book their likeable characters are developed much further and we get to know more about the former escort Pax and the Sergeant At Arms Mace.
Theirs is a slow burn affair as Pax is still recovering from a life changing event 12 months earlier. Lots of tender kisses and heartwarming moments are shared between them, and of course, after a few bumps along the way they get their HEA.
I found this to be a really enjoyable, engaging read with all the elements of a biker MC, great main characters and interesting and intriguing side characters setting the scene for more Iron Heretics MC stories. I’m really looking forward to more!

The Fake Boyfriend Universe has just been expanded by this collection of three shorts. And what fun it is to see all these side characters get their time to shine.
There are laugh out loud moments, sweet moments and hot steamy moments.

Rebound : Aron and Wyatt have been friends for years. After both having recently experienced break ups and with the help of tequila, they decide to be each other’s rebound. Soon to realise what was always there, just waiting for them to see it.

It’s Complicated : Max and Ash have been best friends since childhood. Ash also dated Max’s brother so it is complicated. Talk about a frustrating and stubborn! At times I wanted to lock them all in a room together and shout “talk to each other!” It’s undeniably beautiful when they do get their act together.

Winning You : Marty and Luce win a blind date to a music festival. Marty is absolutely fantastic - a smart geek who is sweet and sassy and sometimes just a bit abrupt. Luce is older and feels his has lost the passion for his chosen career after working his way up the corporate ladder. There is a sizzling attraction, sassy moments and steam!

These shorts are so well written. Eden Finley really is a master in writing about the change in dynamic when friends become lovers and how that change can have consequences and affect those around the couple.

Bending the rules to create your love story.

Nico and Jamie are such engaging, likeable, well developed characters who do their best to ignore the chemistry between them.
Jamie has crushed on his brothers best friend/business partner for many years and his crush turns to major attraction when he becomes Nico’s intern.
They fight and fight the attraction until they can’t any longer. Be prepared for some steam and heat when they give in to each other. A few hurdles along the way need to be negotiated before Nico and Jamie get their HEA.
This book has some angst, an engaging plot and some likeable and not so likeable side characters. Well worth the read.
