Ollie sure has been put through the wringer by his ex and life is not doing him any favours whilst Xander struggles with an injury that means he’s off the MotoGP track until cleared.
Circumstances bring these two wonderfully endearing characters together and it’s such a joy watching their relationship develop from friendship to when “feelings” become involved. It’s a great awakening for Xander but he doesn’t balk at his newfound feelings towards the delightfully awkward Ollie. Interspersed with the steamy times are some beautiful tender and sweet moments that really highlights the connection between them.
Xander does experience some angst in regards to his career but the relationship with Ollie is low angst with nothing major to derail their happiness, just the odd insecurity to overcome. I really enjoyed every moment of their story and cheered them on from the very beginning, finishing with a smile on my face when they got their HEA. A beautiful finale to the Star Crossed series which I highly recommend

Ambrosius, the created vampire, and Emmerich, an alpha dragon, are fated mates. Even with the instant attraction and desire to be together they do have a bit of a rough start to their mating. Meaning they both learn the hard way the importance of communication between mates to avoid any angst. There is of course sizzling chemistry with lots of steamy times between these two wonderful characters and an ensuing pregnancy.
Whilst enjoying their new life together an unexpected threat emerges for the Council to investigate and Ambrosius and Emmerich’s little family is at risk. This element of the overall story arc is delved into with some headway gained but remains unsolved.
This is an enjoyable fated mates romance that includes loving family members - both biological and found - combined with an interesting and intriguing story arc and I look forward to more in the series.

Sutton likes to overanalyse and process everything whereas Jayden is more go with the flow and acts without thinking yet they are perfect for each other and they play together on the same professional basketball team. The bestest of best friends with an unshakable bromance until one unexpected kiss from Jayden has Sutton mishandling his response and distancing himself.

I highlighted so many sections of dialogue and text in this beautifully written book. From the sometimes laughingly ridiculous things Jayden would say to the depth of their understanding of and love for each other. These two wonderful men captured my heart from the very beginning and left me all warm and fuzzy at the end wishing that I could give them big squishy hugs.
I loved every moment of this low angst, sweet with a bit of heat romance and couldn’t stop reading it. From the characters I was so invested in, to the seamless flow of the plot and the perfect pacing that had me turning the pages, it was a superb way to spend an afternoon.

Iris and Saint are such fun. Love the deadpan humour and banter between them and the sizzling chemistry they have leads to many steamy scenes. There’s a great cast side characters to keep things interesting and I look forward to more in this series. A very enjoyable and engaging read ending in a lovely HEA.

I loved everything about this book. The plot, the pacing, the world building, the fantastic cast of main and secondary characters. I felt like I was pulled into the story of Cain and Jayce from the very beginning and had to keep reading until the very end.
Circumstances brought these two wonderful characters together and it was not love at first sight. Their romance seemed to sneak up on them, quietly bubbling along without them truly realising what was happening. All of this taking place whilst a huge threat was looming to shatter their known existence.
