There are no trigger warnings listed but please be aware that physical/emotional abuse is depicted, as is homophobia borne by religious doctrine.

There is quite a lot going on with this story and it’s sub plots. From the main story of Armando, a closeted widower whose recently deceased wife encouraged the yearly gay cruises he takes, to Lyndon and his violent stalker ex who won’t take no for an answer. There is also the issue of Armando and his gay son Michael coming out to a deeply religious family. Whilst all these different threads, with their various side characters came together, I felt that there was a lack of depth to each which did distract me somewhat as it felt rushed in places - especially the ending.

This is a low heat, fade to black, angsty read that filled in a couple of hours.

This is such a wonderful, low angst romance with 2 terrific main characters and a quirky cast of side characters. Malachi shines so bright that he pulls Julian back into a light filled world. I adored how Malachi would nervously ramble on and the banter between him and Julian had me laughing so much. The letters made my heart experience so many feels as did the pure way Julian and Malachi’s romance blossomed.
A truly beautiful read once again from this author.

This is an enjoyable novella size slice of Frank and Joshua’s story. There’s a bit of drama, a bit of steam and a bit of meddling by Ace. After a bump in the road, Frank finally understands that Joshua is truly the one for him. The Four Kings characters make special appearances and keep things interesting. There’s also a rather large snowman decoration that had me laughing out loud!

Sweet age gap romance in a gorgeous location.

Hollywood heart throb Rook flees to a resort in the Maldives to elude the paparazzi after being outed. His villa comes with a young, efficient and confident butler named Aldo. The sizzling chemistry between them is pretty much instant and it doesn’t take them long to turn the heat up. Even though there’s an age gap and they appear to be complete opposites, they find themselves fitting together like the perfect puzzle pieces that they are.
There’s a couple of hurdles for Rook to negotiate regarding his career and how a relationship with a younger man could be viewed by some. His and Aldo’s HEA isn’t threatened as Rook’s solid PR team are up to the task.
This is a very enjoyable, sweet read with no angst, lots of steam and a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters.
