What a joy it is to return to Whispering Key and all of its quirky inhabitants.
In this well written instalment in the series, former childhood friends Rafe and Jay tell their story. Jay would summer on the island and he and Rafe were the closet of friends until circumstances led them into enemies territory. Circumstances that made sense at the time but in hindsight, and with maturity, proved otherwise.
So begins a delightful romance involving an hilarious road trip in a perfume filled van, a sort of kidnapping and all the quirky side characters you could ever need.
Jay and Rafe are very likeable characters and the banter between them had me laughing out loud. Even when they are trying to hate each other the chemistry between them sizzles and things get steamy when it ignites. There’s a dash of angst as they work through some miscommunication issues but nothing that stops their longed for HEA or stops this from being a very enjoyable feel good read.

Wonderful quirky romance.
This is such a fun read with two fantastic main characters who have buckets of chemistry on a road trip to save fossils.
Royal, the Dino shifter is a hot, funny, brilliant nerd whilst Blaise is a genderqueer, tiny diva of a drag queen who is in the midst of a life crisis. He may be tiny but he is fierce!
Circumstances brings these two together and soon the adventure of Blaise’s life begins.
Lots of humour, action and a few hot steamy scenes in this engaging and enjoyable instalment of the RELIC series.

What a wonderfully original read.
This thoroughly engaging and complex story arc includes the regulars from West Side Magick.
Jude and Cope set off to Canada with Ronan and Kevin to help reunite two long lost lovers in the afterlife and to also assist a family, with ties to the Titanic, who have been haunted for generations.
The tragedy of the Titanic is the heart of this book and as such, not only did the characters feel all the emotions but so did I. Tears of sorrow for Tierney and Rian and tears of happiness when they got their very much longed for HEA.
The weaving of the Titanic characters with the present day was brilliantly done and I was engrossed from the very first page.
This was a perfect balance of an intriguing plot that flows seamlessly with strong characters to hold it all together. And Jude also manages to include “Bohemian Rhapsody” into a romantic moment with Cope!

Loved this so much, my favourite of the series so far.
What an amazing book this is with two very likeable main characters that jumped into my heart and will not leave.
Auggie is a tiny, sweet, super clumsy, super awkward adorable man who has to stop himself from rambling too much. All he’s ever wanted is to work in construction. Leon is a kind and patient bear with his own construction business and has no time for a relationship so sticks with hookups and takes on Auggie as an apprentice.
So begins a well written perfectly paced romance where the chemistry sizzles and heat levels rise. There’s minimal angst with no big hurdle to derail them as the move from a purely physical relationship to their HEA.
Characters from the previous books make appearances but this can be read as a standalone. We are also left with a very quick peek at who will be the centre of the next book in the series and I cannot wait!
