Great start to a new series.

This is the first book in the West Coast Forensics series which is a spin off from the Veiled Intentions series. It can be read as a standalone as some of the previous characters appear but are not integral to the plot.
The likeable main characters in this romantic suspense are Soren and Dany. Soren is a police officer on the island and Dany is escaping the reach of his family who are heavily involved in criminal activities. The two of them also have a history together and now that circumstances bring them back together, over two years later, their sizzling chemistry reignites. Be prepared for an angry steamy scene, lots of heat and lots more steam.
This is an engaging and enjoyable read that flows along seamlessly with an intriguing mystery that adds some drama and suspense to the plot. I look forward to the next in the series.

3.5 stars. Another quick, easy and enjoyable insta love read from this author.

This time Cole, the IT specialist at Ward Security gets his story told. Cole is a city person, he loves all the noise and chaos of city living. Circumstances see him on a ranch in Texas where he is sharing a house with JB, the owners son. JB does have a connection to Ward Security so they have quickly met previously.

JB is bisexual, has an easy going manner about him, a great sense of humour and loves working on the ranch that’s destined to be his. Cole soon develops an attraction to JB and this has him questioning how straight he actually is. The chemistry between burns slowly and when it finally sparks the heat level rises.
So begins a romance that involves a bi-awakening, a gun happy elderly neighbour, a loving family who enjoy interfering and some action and suspense that requires assistance from the Ward Security team so naturally, code names will be required!

This is another well written, enjoyable read with a wonderful cast of main and secondary characters. The plot flows along seamlessly and kept me fully engaged from the very beginning. There’s a bit of angst but nothing can derail Cole and JB’s HEA.

4.5 stars.
Simon, the nephew of a mob boss, hides his identity whilst at college. For a 20 year old he is beyond mature and so very likeable.
Rush is a descendant of the founding family of the University, loves music but has to major in something else to appease his appalling father.
When these two wonderful men meet there is an instant attraction so they decide to take things slow, date and get to know each other.
So begins their bumpy road to an HEA. It includes secrets being revealed, the involvement of mob bosses, attempted murder and more. Drama, a dash of angst, plot twists, what a truly loving family is like are all found in this thoroughly engaging read. A great cast of main and secondary characters keep the plot moving along at a perfect pace and I read this in one session.
Some characters from the Haven Hart universe appear but this can be read as a standalone.

3.25 stars.
A quick, sweet, easy read with not too much depth and likeable main characters.

This is the fifth and final book in the series and what an engaging and enjoyable read it is.
Fenwick is a warlock and the IT specialist within his coven whilst Severino is a black Jack dealing vampire on a riverboat. Circumstances and the Fates bring these two together but even fated Ones/Beloveds have misunderstandings on the way to their HEA. Even though this likeable couple appear to be somewhat different, the Fates never get it wrong and of course the instant chemistry between them is off the charts. This leads to many steamy moments but the emotional connection between them takes that little bit longer.
This is a low angst easy read and a wonderful way to conclude the series. Characters from throughout the series make appearances and we are left with a glimpse of one of the characters who will feature in the first book of the new vampire series coming later in the year.
