What a wonderful ride this page turner of a book proved to be.
The perfect balance of snark, suspense and scary scenes. The on point pacing had the plot moving at a page turning pace and I had to read this in one sitting.
The relationship between Levi and Blue is strengthened throughout this ordeal and Tom is back as the grumpy as always mentor with a great sense of humour and a big heart.
Some characters from the previous book are back in major roles so this shouldn’t be read as a standalone. There’s also some very interesting side characters introduced which I’m keeping my fingers crossed lead to more in the series.
Another perfectly crafted masterpiece from Lily Morton which had me laughing one moment, on the edge of my seat the next, then smiling so hard when Levi and Blue got all mushy whilst once again fighting evil.

This is another well crafted instalment in the Hollywood Hopefuls series that kept me fully engaged and left me smiling.
Jasper and Matt are both such likeable characters with lots of chemistry that’s a nice mix of heat with sweet. Jasper is older, well established and just out of an open relationship. Jasper is younger, working hard toward his dream and carries baggage that makes it difficult for him to have/maintain a relationship.
There’s some feels and a bit of angst and drama from the main characters insecurities, but nothing that stops their HEA.
The cast of secondary characters add to the plot with two of them setting the scene for the next book and I’m really looking forward to it.
This can be read as a standalone but reading the earlier books would make for a richer experience.

Two men who shared a class in High School reconnect 10 years later and what a reunion it is.
Tate and Chase are both very likeable characters who are realistic, flawed and have huge amounts of chemistry between them. Circumstances lead them into a fake boyfriends relationship and when that morphs into friends with benefits things really heat up. There’s a few feels, a bit of angst and drama in this well written, engaging story but Tate and Chase eventually find their way to a HEA.
Many of the side characters are from other books within this wider universe, which I’ve not read, but this can be read as a standalone.

This is another wonderfully written, engaging romance in the Aster Valley series from Lucy Lennox.
The fantastic cast of main and secondary characters is spearheaded by the loveable Sam and Truman. Sam, a contractor, is only in town for a few days visiting friends and Truman is the local botanist/spice merchant.
Truman is absolutely adorable. He rambles on about botanical facts, is shy, quirky, very sweet and sunshiny. Sam is on holiday from his job and his family who have no qualms in using him for everything.
Circumstances bring these two together and over the course of only a few days the chemistry between them has the heat levels rising. They had all the feels and left me smiling when they got their well deserved HEA.
This is a beautiful story about finding your found family and bringing your inner strength to the fore to overcome adversity.
The characters from book one are back and a very interesting new character is introduced and he will be the subject of the next instalment which I’m eagerly looking forward to.

What a fantastic start to a new series. This original, superbly crafted story ticks all the boxes for a 5 star paranormal romance and the author absolutely nailed it. I was fully engaged from the first page and it flowed so well that it was a one sitting read that I couldn’t put down.
There’s amazing, complex world building so that you immediately feel pulled into this believable society of paranormal species.
Sam and grumpy Gideon are so very likeable with buckets of chemistry that leads immediately to a very hot and steamy moment. Then there’s a nice slow burn before more heat, with sweet and tender times and of course, after a few surprising twists and turns, a HEA.
The cast of wonderfully interesting side characters added so much to the reading experience and left the door open for more in the series.
This is an amazing read with a good balance of romance, intrigue, drama and humour. I cannot wait for the next instalment.
