What a wonderful ride this page turner of a book proved to be.
The perfect balance of snark, suspense and scary scenes. The on point pacing had the plot moving at a page turning pace and I had to read this in one sitting.
The relationship between Levi and Blue is strengthened throughout this ordeal and Tom is back as the grumpy as always mentor with a great sense of humour and a big heart.
Some characters from the previous book are back in major roles so this shouldn’t be read as a standalone. There’s also some very interesting side characters introduced which I’m keeping my fingers crossed lead to more in the series.
Another perfectly crafted masterpiece from Lily Morton which had me laughing one moment, on the edge of my seat the next, then smiling so hard when Levi and Blue got all mushy whilst once again fighting evil.
