4.5 stars. Great start to the series.

This is a beautifully written book with two very loveable main characters.
Arnie and Tobias are both so adorably awkward and shy, even though Tobias doesn’t appear that way. After a hook up many years previously, they find themselves in each other’s orbit again and the chemistry is still there.
For Arnie it’s all about a very half baked convoluted revenge plot and for Tobias it’s about getting over his shyness to get together with Arnie.
Arnie is so much fun with his social awkwardness and his quirky way of viewing life. Tobias is trapped into a life he doesn’t want but he knows he wants Arnie.
So begins an awkward courtship, that turns into a relationship, that becomes their beautiful HEA.
This was a very engaging and enjoyable, low angst, medium heat romance with humour as some of the thoughts running through Arnie’s mind had me laughing out loud.
An interesting cast of side characters set the scene for more in the series, which I’m eagerly looking forward to.

WOW - 5 stars of wonderful.

Oh how I loved Shay and Josiah.
Both are strong and self confident, sassy and snarky and love bickering and teasing each other. Lots of witty banter kept me laughing and I really enjoyed how they weren’t without flaws. Add in some feels and amazing chemistry, which turns up the heat levels when they get their act together and you are left with a beautiful romance and a sweet HEA.
This is a superbly written story and the perfect pacing kept me turning the pages. The tropes of enemies to lovers, age gap, older brothers ex and amnesia are brilliantly intertwined thanks to the authors wonderful story telling ability plus there’s also a bit of mystery thrown in to keep you fully engaged. A couple of interesting side characters are set up for the next instalment and I adored the minor character Jordie - he made me smile every time he appeared.
This is a true 5 star low angst read that I highly recommend. It’s my favourite in the series but the others are also fantastic!

WOW! Absolutely brilliant.

For what I term the “technical” side of things, this book had it all.
Very well written with so many layers, twists and turns to the plot line, superb character development, perfect pacing that kept me engaged and had me turning the pages to see what happens next and originality. Two very likeable main characters with amazing chemistry with plenty of steam and a wonderful cast of side characters to keep things interesting.
What else did I enjoy?
The snark, fun and banter between Rain and Daniel and their complete understanding that their relationship is unique to them and theirs alone through all the ups and downs.
The feels, that ranged from laughter to heart in my mouth to “aww”moments.
The ghosts, their stories and how some were really nice and others were just a downright creepfest.
Basically I just loved everything about this book and the series as a whole. I cannot recommend The Spectral Files series highly enough.

I loved the premise of this book so much. It was so well written and I enjoyed the complex characters. The surprise twists and turns were something that I certainly didn’t anticipate. I’ll be eagerly awaiting the next book in the series.

I really enjoy the writing style of this author and her well developed characters. Linc and Kent are really likeable characters who fell in love as teenagers but were then separated. 12 years later they are reunited in a professional capacity but soon realise there is a lot more going on between them than just physical therapy.
Mainly the palpable chemistry that still lingers from all those years ago. “You’re the same, only more.”
This is a fun, light, sweet second chance romance with some feels, some heat and an obstacle or two that needs to be overcome before a touching HEA.

4.5 stars.
The writing style of this author and the way she develops her characters is always first class. This book flowed along so nicely and kept me engaged from the very beginning.
Parker and Jason were once the best of friends with so much history, both good and heartbreaking. That history made it hard for Parker to forgive and left Jason full of guilt, remorse and heartache.
Six years later they see each other again. This meeting reinforces for Parker that he’s only ever loved Jason and Jason determines that he won’t run away from the truth again. The chemistry is still there between them but they take their time as it’s more important for them to get their friendship back again.
The heat levels rise exponentially when they decide to make a go of their second chance.
This is a beautiful gay for you second chance romance in which we also get to visit again with Parker’s found family. There’s also a bit of angst, lots and lots of feels and a long awaited HEA for these very loveable main characters.

“All roads lead to you, Parker. Always have.”

Quick enjoyable fantasy.

What a ride book 2 in this series is.
Fast paced, super romantic, a dramatic plot with so much happening, lots of feels and a beautifully hard earned HEA for Toka and Rayner. Both such loveable characters, with chemistry galore, who had it all stacked against them but managed to jump every hurdle eventually. I love it when good triumphs over evil and there is a really evil character in this.
Looking forward to the next instalment.
