4.5 stars. Great start to the series.

This is a beautifully written book with two very loveable main characters.
Arnie and Tobias are both so adorably awkward and shy, even though Tobias doesn’t appear that way. After a hook up many years previously, they find themselves in each other’s orbit again and the chemistry is still there.
For Arnie it’s all about a very half baked convoluted revenge plot and for Tobias it’s about getting over his shyness to get together with Arnie.
Arnie is so much fun with his social awkwardness and his quirky way of viewing life. Tobias is trapped into a life he doesn’t want but he knows he wants Arnie.
So begins an awkward courtship, that turns into a relationship, that becomes their beautiful HEA.
This was a very engaging and enjoyable, low angst, medium heat romance with humour as some of the thoughts running through Arnie’s mind had me laughing out loud.
An interesting cast of side characters set the scene for more in the series, which I’m eagerly looking forward to.
