Charming and imaginative holiday read.

Another well written original story in this delightful series. The world building in these novellas really packs a punch and the characters are more complex than you’d think for a holiday short.
Rudy and Jack have been in an established relationship for many, many years but it’s only been public knowledge for a short time. The misdeeds in this adventure highlight the strength of their love and how the prejudices against them can’t stop their love for each other. Throw in some feels and another couple of side characters that will have an interesting story and you get another wonderful instalment in this series.

WOW! Fantastic start to a new series.

I was so invested in this book that I was unable to put it down.
Micah and Alex are two broken men who have both survived trauma and at times I was heartbroken with what they’d suffered. Although they still managed to be a bit nerdy, a bit snarky and have a bit of a laugh. It wasn’t insta love for them but the heat turned up when the deeper connection and commitment was made.
These are two very complex, deep characters and they are given a mystery, with many twists and turns, to solve in this well written, very original story. We are even treated to some very interesting side characters.
I highly recommend this book if you’re interested in ghosts, fire demons, shadow monsters and things that go bump in the night.
The ending is a HFN and I can’t wait to find out more.

A magical romance for the holidays

Another creative, fun and sweet read from Charlie Cochet. In this, the third instalment in the series, Vale and Vixen are the headliners.
Vale is fairly quiet and serious whereas Vixen appears shallow, conceited and very flirty. Of course, Vale sees that there is more to Vixen and endeavours to get to know him but taking him on the most swoony, romantic first date ever.
Enter the classic dastardly fiend to try to ruin their happiness but love saves the day!
I love the originality of this series, the world building and the likeable characters. This is yet another wonderful read for a quick holiday fix.

Brilliant sweet romance with a dash of magic

This is such a well written, original story with a plot that has a surprise or two along the way. The main characters are easy to connect with because they are so likeable with wonderful chemistry. Don’t read this expecting lots of bedroom antics, it’s not like that, but what they do have is so beautifully written it gave me all the feels. There are also so very interesting side characters that have left me intrigued and wanting to know their story.
I was so invested in this book, I made the mistake of starting it in the late afternoon and couldn’t put it down until I finished it very late that night!

Grady loves his life, is a kind soul but is lonely. He’s given a snow globe by his best friend that changes his life.
Alaric, a warlock, is sweet, caring and selfless even after having an horrific childhood. He was cursed by a witch wanting revenge on his selfish, cruel father. That curse left him inside his snow globe prison for 200 years.

After being able to connect in the dream realm, Grady’s willpower and Alaric’s magic are able to secure Alaric’s much longed for freedom. And so the adventure begins.
I highly recommend this book if you like a sweet romance with the addition of a good magic versus evil magic plot.
