Like catching up with old friends.
It’s wonderful to get a sneak peek into these marvellous characters and what is happening in their lives.
Some sass, some snark, witty banter and a mix of sweet and heat. Very entertaining with a few feels thrown in for good measure and laugh out loud moments.
There are many spoilers in this short story collection so please don’t read it if you haven’t read the relevant books. Go to them first, fall in love with them and then you’ll really appreciate this 2nd Short Stack

Everett and Jennings are fated mates but that doesn’t mean that they are without their struggles on the way to their HEA. They need alone time to strengthen their bond but it’s just not happening. Steamy moments are not a problem but the deeper bond connection is lacking a bit.
Everett is working on changing his past behaviour and Jennings is going back and forth re his teaching commitments and family togetherness but communication and the longed for alone time bring them as close together as fated mates should be.
The overall story arc continues which keeps things interesting and so many couples are adding to their families. This is another enjoyable and easy read in the series but it shouldn’t be read as a standalone.

Sweet insta love with a very adorable sprite finding his fated mate. A quick and easy holiday read.
We first meet Kendall and Ridge in the Sinister In Savannah universe and I’m so thrilled that they get their story told in this standalone book.
Kendall hasn’t had any luck with the guys he has been with in the past and Ridge doesn’t like to stay in one place long enough to put down roots. Circumstances lead them to becoming roommates and the chemistry between them really starts to sizzle, so much so that they inevitably give into it which leads to lots of steamy moments. Both try not to get their heart involved so there’s a dash of angst but not enough to derail their well deserved HEA. Along the way Kendall discovers what his true calling in life is and it’s something that took me by surprise but so him!
I really loved both these characters and the supporting cast of side characters which made for a very interesting, enjoyable and engaging read. I was heart sore on Kendall’s behalf sometimes but this was balanced by the some of the antics of Ridge’s friends. This is a romantic suspense but as noted by the author, it is more weighted to the romance element and this doesn’t detract from the plot in any way.

This novella was an okay read for me. It’s part of a series that I’ve not read but this can be read as a standalone. Monty is a sweet but lonely lighthouse keeper who also happens to be a strong medium. Jon is a ghost that haunts the area after being killed many years ago.
They begin a friendship, an incident leads to some drama/angst and when reunited they manage to make some steam together. I didn’t really feel that much of an emotional attachment to the story but was intrigued by the side character Sister Frankie.
