I’ve been in a mini-contemporary romance slump and this was the first synopsis that has grabbed my interest in a while (also I absolutely adore this cover)! I flew through this in two sittings and loved it so so much! Insanely adorable and feel-good story that had me constantly smiling and giggling. Aiden and Luci had such great chemistry and the building tension kept me flipping pages. I enjoyed seeing Luci’s confidence build and that she wasn’t afraid to back down from what she wanted. Really loved the last scene between Aiden and his dad, too. They just both seemed like really authentic characters and the story was so much fun!

I also loved the side characters in this, especially Grayson. Will definitely go back and check out this author’s other books!

I’ve been eagerly awaiting this one ever since I first laid eyes on this glorious cover! It just SCREAMS Jem and the Holograms, and since that is actually an entire facet of my personality, I couldn’t get my hands on this fast enough. Throw in some Taylor Swift love AND 10 Things I Hate About You mention?? This book had my name written allllllll over it.

I had a lot of fun with this. Valerie and Caleb’s chemistry was electrifying from the start, and I loved seeing both them and the band come back together! Loved Keeley, Jane, and Riker, too. The dynamic was really thrilling and I was invested throughout.

The only reason I’m not giving this a full five stars is that the last bit was a little shaky for me. Valerie’s impulsive actions disappointed me, and though I understand the reasoning behind it, I can’t help wishing the conflict was something different. I will say that the aftermath was handled pretty well and I did love the actual ending! Also a small nitpick but I really wish we got more details about Val and Caleb’s relationship before the band broke up, like how they got together!

Overall, very very fun. Will definitely look out for more from this author in the future!
