Overall I had so much fun with this book. I was on the edge of my seat for so much of it. I was hoping for a bit more grand of a reveal at the end (especially since I solved cat's involvement in Maire and Samuel's past). But seeing

made for a good ending.

Man the one time I'm looking forward to the sex scene and there isn't one?? Very solid chemistry between these characters

I will always love this series, but I did feel a little lost at times in this book. I might bump it up to 5 stars when I get a chance to relistening, but this is what I’m going with for now

I am so excited to read a fantasy book that makes me feel this way. I honestly want to give this book a five, but in some ways it really does feel too early in the series to reward this with that high of a rating. I’m seriously thinking I might go buy the next book and read it as soon as I’m done with onyx storm. I loved this!!
