Easily Ashley herring Blake’s best work and maybe one of my favorite romances?? I adored the chemistry these two had and how well they were made for each other. I loved them both so much

Such an exciting start to this series! I was kind of hoping to get more answers by the end of this book, but I’m excited to (hopefully) see them get answered in the future. 

This romance was just perfect! Loved the grumpy/sunshine dynamic and the way that the characters were loved for who they are, not just in spite of their circumstances. And the fact that it was just 5 hrs was perfect for accomplishing what it needed to.

One thing I really appreciate about Ashley Herring Blake is that she writes the characters to be imperfect, and I think she does that really well in this book. In some of her other books, the characters errors can sometimes feel uneven, which makes it hard to come around to these characters later in the story. But I think this book did a great job of showing that love is complicated and we don’t always do the right thing while still making the characters enjoyable. And who doesn’t love a Christmas romance??

I mean

I feel like B.K. Borison’s books are a little too character-focused for me. I still enjoyed the book because I really like a friends to lovers situation, but idk. 

I feel like I don’t know what even happened in this book other than the couple of exciting scenes towards the end.

I will take as many of these stories as JLB is willing to write, I love these characters. I’m honestly impressed that the novella was as tense as it was for being a short story. I only wish it were longer
