Least favorite so far - less interesting story and don't love the different artist's style. But still excited to read vol 4.
Would be 4.5 if possible. This book was just so dreary. Sometimes it just felt like, ok can things be normal for a bit? It felt a tad overwhelming to be gloom and doom for almost 1500 pages. I'm hoping book 7 is a bit brighter.

First read 2016: Love love love love love. I LOVE Nimona. Nimona all day. Every day. Can there please be 800 sequels? I would have loved more flashbacks of Abrosius and Ballister in 'school.' The fight/attack scenes were done so well. I cannot say enough about this amazing Graphic Novel! Highly highly recommend.
Re-read 2023: Still an incredible book. The artwork invokes such a light tone initially which creates a truly incredible juxtaposition with the intensity of the story. I yearn for more clues to the mystery of Nimona's past and would love more stories in this world. Can't wait to watch the movie!

Too too too short! I can't handle these tiny issues once a month! I guess welcome to the comic book world.
As good as her first collection. Although, I understand WAY fewer jokes this time around. It doesn't bother me too much because I can usually get the gist and the comics I do understand never fall flat. I loved the Victorian women on bikes, and all of the Wuthering Heights ridiculousness. Can't recommend Kate Beaton enough.
Definitely the most unique book I've read this year. So creepy!!!! Reading it in the library in the middle of a hot summer day was perfect because if I had been in my house at night I would probably never sleep again. Oh man this book gave me the shivers! Highly recommend, but definitely don't read alone at night!
I just didn't get this one.....I guess that's why it's called psychological.
Definitely a big recovery for me from The Lost Symbol, which I did not as much enjoy. Something I have wondered about reading the last few Langdon books is how Robert never once thinks to himself, hmm, why do all these life or death time running out intense situations happening to just me? Or maybe we're supposed to treat them all completely stand alone and Langdon is just a convenient character to write about.
Anyway, I did very much enjoy this book. I have missed reading even brief Italian phrases, and I enjoyed all of my flashbacks to Florence and Venice that the book prompted.

As for the ending, I'm not sure how I feel about it! It was odd for a Dan Brown book to not end with Langdon saving the day in some dramatic way. I was intrigued by the fact that despite all of his symbol searching and last minute hunting the virus had been already out in the world for multiple days. Sooooo, what was the point I guess? Hmm, just interesting. Excited to see the movie!
