Loved the pencil drawn illustrations. Grabbed this one off the shelf because I saw the Caldecott Medal. I can see why it's a classic!
I adored the simplistic and beautiful text. And the artwork with the contrasting light and dark plus the emphasis of straight line drawing was so original. Loved this.
Amelia Bedelia was my all time favorite when I was little. Still love her!

Ok this book was awesome. I loved the illustrations when they took up both pages. I didn't think it would end the way it did....then it happened!
