A very easy summer read. Don't expect fantastic writing or an intense plot, but go into it without prejudice and try not to compare it to Twilight!

Enjoyable for a train/plane ride. Not a ton of depth, but I wasn't expecting much. I do like how the author never made you hate any character, (except maybe Dex), but let you draw your own conclusions and garnered sympathy for all of them at different points. Good beach/summer read.

Not my favorite John Green book. My expectations may have been a bit too high. I just felt like I connected with the characters better in Looking for Alaska and An Abundance of Katherines. But it was great still! It was John Green for sure, and I love the thoughtfulness he puts into his characters. DFTBA!

Ultimately, I'm a little confused about my feelings for this book. I loved the lessons Cameron learned, and I loved the theme of learning to appreciate life. BUT I think in the end I was disappointed. It was sooo trippy and strange which I loved, but it was almost like all of the individual pieces of this book didn't make a whole, they just made a jumbled up puzzle that isn't ever solved. Hmm. I just don't know!

This book didn't grab me like others have. I liked Green's chapters a lot better, but mostly because I just felt like I couldn't relate to lowercase will Grayson. I know it has nothing to do with Levithan's writing, because he was great. It just wasn't as much for me! But still a great nerdfighterly read.

Just reading again for the Nerdfighter Blurbing Book Club. John says I'll like it better this time. We shall see.

I can't say enough about this book. In high school I suffered under the "I automatically hate this book because I have to read it for class and over-analyze it" syndrome. But reading it again and being able to appreciate Fitzgerald's wonderful writing....I have so many highlights in this book. I grieved for Gatsby at the end and I totally understand his plight (while at the same time just being annoyed with basically every character). Oh man, I just loved it this time.
