Pretty on par for the current Stephanie Plum books. This one took me a sold 40% (read on my Kindle) to really get into the story.

I didn't actually finish this whole book. I read some of it so I could do a bible study over it at my church's Harry Potter themed lock-in. I liked it, but it wasn't fantastic.

Very cute. Nice easy read, without any real thought provoking themes.

Brashares' writing in this novel was SO mature, I was very impressed. The beginning felt overwhelmingly sad, but I never actually cried (despite my normal waterworks). Overall, I wasn't completely impressed with the conclusion, especially Carmen's. The whole book seemed to wrap itself up in a nice little package too abruptly. However, I think this was a great closer to the series I grew up reading.

Really enjoyed this book. I'll probably get the rest of the series, but I'm in no rush. I think that's why I liked it - I'm intrigued by the series but not absolutely dying without the characters. I loved Precious, and I loved her confidence.

This wasn't the best book I've ever read, but I feel that it's a really important book for young adults to read while they're in high school. I know so many people who claim to be supportive of gays as long as they're gay boys - not lesbians. I loved that this book took so many perspectives and made them realistic. While the ending isn't the typical happily ever after, it is definitely realistic and depicts the minds of teenagers perfectly.

Bravo Maureen Johnson! I'm excited to read some of her other books.

The last page left me longing so much for a different resolution, even though I knew it ended the way it should. I'm probably just going to feel sad for a few days though.

Wonderful book with brilliant characters.

Not 5/5 because for me the end left something to be desired.

The first 50% was just so. slow. Nonfiction can be tough for me anyway. Larson was great at weaving the many facts and tiny details into a coherent story that could be followed, but it just seemed to drag on and on until about 60% of the way through. (I use percentages because I read it on my Kindle). I enjoyed the last half well enough, but I don't think I'll be reading any of his other books.

I mean, it wasn't great. But it was nice after two really heavy books. I read it in two days and it didn't make me think too much. Just what I wanted!
