This book was actually pretty good up until the ending. I could have never even thought of a character so stupid. This is a good book to red if you're just passing time but don't expect some profound meaning.

This book was really cute but it didn't have that wow factor that would make it stand out. It's a great contemporary read and the writing is wonderful. The characters are fleshed out and lovable. The plot drags on a bit but its tolerable considering everything else is so good. Read for a nice contemporary novel.

This is a generally new book but there seemed to be a lot of errors in it. Despite that the writing was engaging and really nice. I liked the plot of the book a lot but the characters seemed very 2 dimensional. Im on edge on whether i would recommend it to people. The main character seemed whiny and very irrational.

THIS BOOK IS SO GOOD! The suspense in this novel is beyond belief. A lot of parts played with your emotions but everything was done for a reason. The characters are well thought out and the writing is super engaging. The plot is phenomenal. A DEFINITE READ.

This book did Stargirl justice. Some may say that it makes her lose the whimsical, magical, and mysterious personality that she has, but I think that was needed for a girl like Stargirl. Stargirl in the original novel was meant to fascinate. Stargirl in this novel is a real person. She's just a teenager with emotions that needs everything else everyone else does. Love, Stargirl makes you swallow that bitter seed about Manic Pixie Dream Girl characters, which is that they're not much different from anyone else. Sure it's nice to think of Stargirl as invincible and mature and generally superior to everyone else. But putting this expectation on her makes her seem less like a person and more of an idol. Spinelli has managed to humanize one of the most intriguingly MPDG characters and that is amazing. Not to mention this book made me super emotional.

It was a nice couple of short stories but some of them seemed to be too alike to each other. I feel like I wasn't really the demographic for this book but otherwise it's a nice quick read.

An amazing mystery. I love the diversity of the voices and how the redemption wasn't forced.

An amazing novel. So poetic but so jarring at the same time.

This books is so sad but so masterfully written I can't even begin to explain. The characters are amazing and feel so real.

A complete lack of plot and unrealistic. The book was a no from me.
