The title does not lie, but it is an amazing journey.

A quick, engaging read. Not overly complicated, but definitely a solid middle book in a series.

A clear ending to the series, while still leaving room for more. Gallowglass and Fernando are my favorites, but Chris is a close third.

Neat, happy endings can sometimes be a drag, but also sometimes just what you need when the world is a mess on the pages and in real life.

Exactly what you would think a Scottish advice book would entail. I will say that it made me laugh out loud as often as it made me roll my eyes. Some good takeaways, but also a bunch of common sense.

Definitely compelling, although I wish I knew more about Afghanistan history.

Well-written, but the ending is exactly what you would expect.

There were multiple times over the course of this book that I wanted to throw Jamie and Claire off of the nearest cliff, and I couldn't forgive either them their idiocy based on historical context. However, knowing how many other books there are in the series, I am very curious to learn how, and when, Claire goes back.

Definitely makes me want to read the original again.

A quick romp in the Star Wars universe; a book definitely written by a woman.
