Overall, a good yarn. Just science-y enough to feel real, without bogging the reader down with logistical minutia. Haven't decided what I think yet about the two main characters, except to say at certain points, I understood both sides.

There's a great deal of interesting, thought-provoking, and sometimes-sad information in this book. It took me a long time to get through. Not because I didn't enjoy it but, like Pollan, I needed time to process what I had learned. While I have not abandoned industrial food entirely, I do my best to make the better choices when I can.
