Ok, lets get this out of the way first.
Question: Did i realise that this book was #3 in a series before i greedily asked for it?
Answer: No, No i did not
Question: Do i have to have read the other 2 to be able to enjoy this one?
Answer: Nope, but it might help as you will have a little background of the characters.
Review.
Ok so going in to this book you firstly have the prologue, this was written in 3rd person and it really was done well.
You know that really uncomfortable feeling where you look around at everyone else to see what they are doing, and they are looking everywhere else but the car crash that is happening in front of you?
Should you stay and watch? Or just slowly back away and leave 2 people to sort out their mess privately? Yep, that feeling.
Lane Warner and Brynn Fox have been friends forever, really, since they were children, but they have always carried a torch for each other, although never really done much about it, well apart from that one time that Lane proposed to her, and she turned him down!
The story moves to duel POV, one chapter each, and i loved being inside their heads and hearing their thoughts, many times i was shouting at my kindle JUST KISS HER DAMMIT!!!
Lane is the baby brother of the family, always trying to make his family proud.
Brynn has had a tough life and has always just wanted to be loved.......by Lane.
With a secondary story intwined in this book, the couple are thrown together to help out a young boy with an awful past.
I really enjoyed this one and will be reading the series from the start to catch up with the other characters in the book.
**Thank you to the author and InkSlinger for providing me with this book for an honest review**

Only read it for a challenge and not a book that I would have even looked at.
I'm so glad I did, it was brilliant, I highly recommend it.
Once you get past the techie talk at thee beginning it turns into a funny thriller set in space!

This was an ok read for me not brilliant but not terrible.
World building was also nice and easy for a non Witch book loving person like me.
This definitely pulled me out of my comfort zone, and I like to do that because sometimes you find an absolute gem of a book, unfortunately for me this wasn't one however I did enjoy it.
Ivy and winter had some really good banter between each other and I love the fact that she was a lazy Witch, something that I would totally be.
I'm not sure if I would rush out to buy book 2 but I may get round to reading it in the future.

Well if sexy firefighters are your bag, then this little beauty is just the thing for you!
Combust is about the 2nd Malone brother Grady, we saw the first Grant (The Cop) in [bc:Cuffed|31314066|Cuffed (Everyday Heroes, #1)|K. Bromberg|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1502979299s/31314066.jpg|51987291]
Even though this is book #2 in the series, they can all be read as Standalones.
Dylan McCoy is a songwriter, she has done very well for herself and made quite a name for herself in the music business, she even now writes songs for a famous rockstar, who she was involved with for a couple of years........that was until she found him in bed with someone else!
Nursing a broken heart she decides to get away from life for a while, this is going to be difficult, because she is still under contract and still has to work with the rockstar and pretend everything is "Hunky Dory" with their love life (because of said contract)
After speaking to her brother he convinces her to go and stay at his best friends house for a while, so she packs her things and sets out for Sunnyville.
Grady is a firefighter, he is a kind, sweet man who has his own problems to deal with, but being the nice guy that he is, lets his best friends sister room at his house for a while.
When Dylan and Grady meet, well they immediatly hit it off and become friends, but there is an underlying attraction between them.
When that atraction is unleeshed, well lets just say that it is good that Grady is a Firefighter, cause it is SMOKING 🔥🔥
Dylan is very insecure about herself, her rockstar boyfriend Jett cheated on her with a gorgeous stick thin model, and Grady, well Grady has his own scars, some you can clearly see.
I loved this story, the characters were wonderful people that had been dealt shitty blows.
There were a couple of lump in the throat moments, and also a time where my heart was in my mouth!
🎧🎧Excellently narrated by the perfect dreamteam duo Andi Arndt #SexyVoiceQueen and Sebastian York #SebYes this is one that you should add to your TBR.
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ That is some creepy sh*t stars!
This was a reread for me, but it was on our Goodreads group (A Million More Pages, you should totally join, it's awesome!) as a Book of the Month, so ya know...points!
Anyhoo....
This little Dystopian cracker is a creepy little mind fu*k because you don't really know why you are scared, I mean how could you while you are wearing a blindfold?
It all starts when seemingly normal people start to loose their sh*t and go mad, not in the "He's crazy" type thing, i mean totally bat shit crazy, they are normal one second, and the next they are killing their husband/wife/kids, and then turning the weapon on themselves.
When i say weapon i mean anything they have at hand, knives, guns, hammers, even their own teeth!!
This is happening quite far away in a different county, and it is being reported on the TV so it isn't anything to get really worried about.....
Until it starts happening closer to the U.S.A...
Then in your state, then in your home town!
People start to cover their windows/doors and are scared to look outside, as it seems to be that something out there is causing all of this, but the thing is, if you look.....you die!!
So Malorie is there...
In the house......
All alone......
She can't go outside.....
She can't look outside.....
She WON'T look outside............
Oh yes, i forgot to say that she is a few months pregnant!!!!
Because you are with Malorie throughout this creepy little read you start to feel the claustrophobia as you are not really sure what is out there, especially when you have to eventually open that door and go outside............
🎧🎧Audio narration for this book was perfect, Katharine Mangold really managed to make me believe that *I* was Malorie, and i was scared out of my pants!! 😱
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I Want to be a Morgan stars
So before getting started on this little firecracker, I want you to take a little minute to just look at that cover picture.............
..
..
..
Ok are you back?? ................Ok then, just one more minute...... go on, i'll wait.............
Right, that's your lot! You can go back and swoon after this review,
Bee tee dubs, let me tell you that this cover photo is of an *actual* Firefighter from Washington, SWOON!!!!!!
This is the story of Lydia and Colby
Lydia & Colby meet after Colby has a pretty bad accident that leaves him fighting for his life in the hospital, Lydia is his physiotherapist.
The attraction to each other (once Colby is awake) is instant, but Lydia knows that it won't / can't go any further as she has her own share of heartbreak that she is not willing to go through again, not for her, and certainly not for her kids!
My heart broke and then was patched back up again with this story, and i LOVED IT!
This book had FEELINGS guys, i am not joking when i say i had a little cry in chapter 2, CHAPTER FREAKING 2 !!!! Who does that???
Lauren 'Jedi Yoda' Rowe that's who!
If you have read any of Ms Rowe's books then you will know that her secondary characters also have a huge part to play in her books, in fact, all of the Morgan clan have become my best friends.
The one-liners are classic, and i can't actually say which one of them are my favorite brother, but Colby certainly is up there in my top 3 Lol.
Everything in this book is just perfect, the 'meet cute' the family, the kids....just everything!!
Even though the other 2 books have been released and are all stand alone's in their own right, if you really want to catch the Morgan brothers in their chronological fine glory then THIS ONE should be read first, then [bc:Captain|34321962|Captain (The Morgan Brothers)|Lauren Rowe|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1489698332s/34321962.jpg|55382998] & finally the blue haired, perfect specimen that is [bc:Ball Peen Hammer|30038278|Ball Peen Hammer (The Morgan Brothers)|Lauren Rowe|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1466373410s/30038278.jpg|50442305]
If you have never read a Lauren Rowe book before, firstly WHAT????
Secondly you should get on that straight away!
Pick this one up and become one of the family, 'Mama Lou' will be waiting with open arms, and the boys can't wait to give you a nickname.
