Deeply moving marriage in crisis. Loved this follow up to Lord Ian and can’t believe it took this long for me to get to it! CW: miscarriage and pregnancy loss are intense themes along with substance abuse

Ugly Christmas sweaters but make it regency. Cute and very short.

A varied mix of little Christmas stories from some of my faves. The Dare is classically Dare, the MacLean classically MacLean, etc etc. this is a nice sampler of these authors. I enjoyed the Sophie Jordan and look forward to more, and I loved the connection of the stories through a (terrible) magic shortbread recipe.

Perhaps the least angst in any Duran I have yet read, but incredibly sweet second chance here. The Christmas setting was quite festive and wintry. I loved how Georgie, the FMC, confronted her dad and I loved how the MMC, Lucas, knew what he wanted and went after it (finally).

Emotionally raw and just as epic as the first two installments, Lotus Empire is a perfect conclusion to a wonderfully unique series. I don’t usually cry while reading but the last quarter of this book had me weeping. Malini, Priya, Bhumika, Rao, Padma and Jeevan will stay with me for a long time.

A classic KJ Charles mix of mystery, intrigue, extremely swoony romance and amazing characters. I loved Joss and Gareth as well as the community of the Marsh and the Doomsday family.

Loved the FMC’s radical nature and the exploration of consent of all kinds, belonging and community.

Kev and Win are absolutely combustible together and basically are fighting or banging on every page. I liked the plot of Kev finding his history and Win’s courage and aggressiveness in getting him to come around and not settling for less. It was so good to see Cam and Amelia again and I am very much looking forward to Leo’s book now!

Elite grovel, tall FMC, “it’s always been you,” secret ladies club and a terrible mom. I loved the inciting incident and follow up. I loved how intensely this pair fought with each other and for each other, and the secret club Lottie runs is absolute goals. Found family coming in hot as well. My first Aydra Richards will not be my last.

Good, not great. Fun and quirky. Firmly in line with the other Amanda Quicks I have read: the FMC is VERY QUIRKY and the MMC is hyper competent. Funny! The audio book is also really great if you can get your hands on it.
