My second read confirms this as one of my favourite books of all time. It’s just masterfully crafted with the way the story unfolds, the contradictions, the witty lines and the poignant moments. It feels so real and beautifully written, I used a whole pad of tabs annotating it. Just perfection!

I think this had middle-book-syndrome. It was soo slow until the last 100 or so pages and then some stuff finally started to happen. Will continue the series but this one was a slog.
