This book impacted me more than I could have imagined. If I'm honest I thought it was going to a slightly cheesy story of a woman "putting her life back together" or something but this book gave me flawed characters with incredible complexity and an astounding amount nuance in the discussion being had.

It is very difficult to read at times and I would definitely go in with caution but if you think you can handle the very blunt and honest handling of the subject matter I would 100% recommend this. I think this book is going to stay with me for a long time.

This was fine, the world was super whimsical and it was lovely. I just found the story a little standard and felt it setting up a love triangle which I can't be bothered to read about and it just wasn't holding my attention enough to push through with it. But I would recommend if you want something lighthearted and whimsical.
