I loved the authors perspective and am so happy to have seen a glimpse into an experience so different than my own. I found this hard to digest because so many people are mentioned and so many pieces of performance art are described.
I read this for my book club. I listened to the audiobook and really recommend it. This books was so beautiful and left me feeling full AND sad.
This was a sweet story. I love the world that was created and the mystery. I wasn’t in love with how the end wrapped up though. I am surprised that after all they went through they would still choose to leave the island.
This was a fun read. Not the most interesting characters and I found some of the motivations to be flimsy for the sake of plot…but overall I think this was a cute book.
This is a cute read that has great pacing. It could have been really bogged down with details of travel and the length of time passing so the author did a great job. I do wish that the characters were a little more developed. While I usually love a series…I kind of wished this one would have wrapped up in one book. I’ll definitely read the next and hope to see all of the great things this one had.
This book is so sweet and heartfelt. It’s about so much and of course one thing…all at the same time.
I wasn't sure what to expect because I loved ACOTAR but couldn't get into CC...this was leaning more towards ACOTAR so I was pleasantly surprised. The characters were interesting and it was a page turner...no sexiness as with ACOTAR and I enjoyed the breather from that.
