Chris Boswell (the kicker) is my favorite player on the Steelers so this book was right up my alley. It was an interesting behind the scenes of kicking in the NFL and was a really entertaining read.

It was entertaining but overall mediocre. I also found the

rape

was unnecessary and added absolutely nothing to the plot.

This story is gut-wrenching and oftentimes difficult to read because of the subject matter. It’s brave of the sisters to share their story. The writing was a very graphic but I don’t think that’s a negative, why should the sisters and the author sugarcoat what they literally lived through for us to feel more comfortable? You’re supposed to feel uncomfortable and disturbed. 

This is a rating for the entire Fruits Basket manga. Fruits Basket is a heartwarming story about both biological and chosen family and facing challenges together. 

A good read, but not as spicy as I expected. 

Was mostly written for shock value. The protagonist is boring, but an entertaining read.
