The worst of the Twilight saga because it’s main plot point is the love triangle. WE are Bella, so why is it revealed that she does actually love Jacob even though she’s adamantly denied it the entire time? She was gaslit and manipulated by Jacob. The other drama is boring and irrelevant to the entire serious, but it was nice to learn about Jasper and Rose.

It was a good romance and I loved the leads together but sometimes the romance was too intense and the language was flowery, just not my preference in a romance. Next to no spice.

An incredibly slow start, but it does make up for it once the ball gets rolling. There was a bit too much time spent in the past. Had a really satisfying ending.

Removing my rating after learning that the author’s husband and son murdered an African man while living in Africa. Will never support this author again.

It was entertaining to read and I didn’t see the “main” twist coming, but I found everything else to be predictable. I rolled my eyes when I read the last sentence—it wasn’t shocking at all.

I found it lacked explanation in some scenarios.
I didn’t fully comprehend that him cheating on his wife was considered so bad in their marriage. In fact, I thought she knew and it was a part of the plan to survey for victims. It also suggested that the mom had been purposely and continuously poisoning her daughter, which the wife denied before she died. It seemed out of character for her because though she was a menace, I believe she really loved her kids. I know she poisoned her on occasion when she needed to stay home without husband, but I don’t believe she did it for shits and giggles.

A vulnerable look from the father’s perspective of when his daughter was murdered by his step son. It was a tragedy and I appreciate the father’s openness and telling the story.
