I should have DNFed this long before I actually did, with all the misogyny and sexual harassment jokes. Not to mention the fact that this office building exists in an alternate reality. But now I’m bored of watching dumpster fires and am ready to move on with my life, please and thank you.
This is a ridiculous book and I enjoyed it so very much. Bizarre to be listening to this at the same time as Kris and D’Vaughn because of all the parallels (and all of the ways they were mirror reflections of each other), but this one did it better, honestly.
Also, Michael Crouch’s narration is perfection.

This gets a whole extra star because the narration is fantastic. But the book itself is just sort of a run of the mill YA story where the MC Learns Things About Love and Life.
This was great. Devil’s Dance sets the stage for the romance between Cam and Alexei and Saint, and Saint’s Song was perfect at really tightening the bond between the three of them. I love the way Alexei understands Saint (and vice versa) in a way Cam doesn’t. Like the whole phone thing was super insightful of Alexei. I really just loved this book for the way Saint realizes he’s in love, and how Alexei and Cam together pull him into a relationship with them.
The “politics of motorcycle clubs” plot line was good too. But Saint, Alexei and Cam’s relationship is really why I am here.

This is it - the best book ever written with the roommate trope. It’s this one.
There’s so many things I loved about this book, but in short, Beau and Payne are just really sweet together and towards each other as their relationship develops. I’d also like to draw attention to the several very good conversations that are had in this book (on several different topics) that characters in other romance books could take a lesson from.
