Kind of a bizarre book. I do wish that the title, the cover, the blurb were less obvious about what’s going on here. But on the other hand, a lot of what you can guess from just looking at this book is revealed about … maybe, a third of the way through the book? So, maybe the cover is justified in that sense.

At any rate, I’m looking forward to the second book. This is kind of a plot that’s been done before, but it was still interesting, and I’m not sure I’ve ever seen the plot of the second book so I’m into that.

Short and sweet. I wish that this had been longer, a slower burn, but that’s something you can say for most novellas I think.
