Tense, exciting, very "detective noir" melodrama meets "hurting person who never really recovered from childhood trauma" type melodrama. I also really liked Xe Sand's narration.
Liked some stories more than others, but over all, an interesting collection of stories and well worth reading.
One of those stories that doesn't really have a plot, though that isn't to say that things don't happen. I liked the book quite a bit but was really aggravated by how much Ophelia lets people walk over her. She rebels in little quiet ways but I wanted her to rebel in bigger ones. I'm not sure I'll continue.
An interesting musical retelling that I found on Libby. Might be fun for a younger audience. Kind of ridiculous as an adult.
I liked this a lot. I loved the characters, I thought the art was great. The plot line I liked too, I just felt like there were scenes that were cut that I needed. I wanted more of Elliot and their backstory, in particular, and some other scenes that I felt like were missing.
